I so love watching your tutorials. Necessity is the mother of all inventions. I found myself unemployed and someone suggested making soap, so I have started. Everybody who knows me, knows that I will not be content just making square blobs, but that I will want to take it to the next level, and I am loving your tutorials. Today I took some of my soaps to a thrift market where I sell clothes and quite a few people bought, my packaging sucks though. So I now I'm looking at great ideas for packaging. Thank you so much. Crystal - Cape Town, South Africa.

I love Elly's videos. I am an absolute novice, Elly has helped me to make my first batch of Castile soap. I made liquid Castile last week, it was perfect. Unfortunately, I messed up on the bar soap. Totally my own fault, I shall persevere and get it right. Thank you so much Elly, your vids are the best.

You are such an amazing person and teacher! I am (as I am sure many others are as well) so very grateful for all the techniques, ideas and experience that you convey to us through your videos. As a novice soap maker it gives me hope that one day I will be able to create beautiful artistic soaps of my own design too. Creating and crafting are something that many of us are passionate about and it is nice to have someone who will openly help us achieve our full artistic talents by teaching us the basics. You have helped me to build a solid foundation for my future in soap making....for that I am ever grateful! You are definitely an inspiration! Soap on my friend! :)

Edenssecret1, With out your videos and a few others (that actually know what they are talking about) I wouldn't be soaping, lotions,.... and then I would be in serious trouble. I have Chiari Malformation ( brain stem hangs out of the back of my skull and puts preasure on my spine and causes savere pain, memory loss, vision loss......) Anyways.... I had to find something I can do at home on my own "pain" schedule. So, THANK YOU for teaching me a trade that can help support my family.

corena garoutte Wow this is exactly me! Just wanted to say hi and that you are not alone. I have chiari malformation and a large pineal brain cyst. I've been doing things like this just to keep my sanity. What I have left of it anyway. Depression is horrible in this condition and going blind I want to make as much bath and body stuff as I can while I still am able. I'm in Louisiana btw. Are you anywhere near here? Anyway I just wanted to say hi to someone who sounded like myself:)) Love and hugs♡♡♡

there is some relief insight depending on how bad your chiari malformation is just the simple fact of aging will help because as we get older our brains get a bit smaller and that will help relieve the pain and discomfort i have one and at 60 now it is not as bad i started noticing a difference at around 50 and the doctor said in this case age was my friend....ask your doctor if you can expect the same with aging...Happy Soaping

In the last 8yrs iv had Cervical Cancer Stage 3 twice and currently in 8mths into my 2nd remission, iv lost 21 Babies as I have A Bicornuate Uterus with a 3/4 Septum (heart shaped but not entirely seperated) and severe Endometriosis (which causes pain every month as bad as labour, sometimes worse) , I suffer Anxiety, OCD, Depression as a child I was mentally, physically abused by my step father who raped me at 12yrs old and I lost his baby at 12wks but my mother stayed with him, I ran away from home at 16 and into an abusive relationship where I lost most of my babies but I felt I couldn’t do any better till I met my now hubby who treats me like a Queen and we have been married for 13yrs and together for 15yrs this coming October - yes we celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and Our Years Together Anniversary- we are 6yrs 4 days apart in age (I turned 35 on March 28 & he turned 41 on 24th March) we have 2 Caring, Honest, loving boys Sam 13 born at 30wks wigged 2lb 8oz has ASD And Aaron 9 who was born at 32wks weighed 4lb 5oz On Valentines Day - Iv had a Baby at 26wks pass due to SIDS & Triploidy (2x Sets Of My chromosomes + 1x Set Of my hubby’s) and I still And always will have her ashes and we lost a baby at 20wks due to Gastroschesis, Congenital Heart Condition & Diaphragmatic Hernia (organs on the outside and twisted with heart on the right side) I never ever want to bury another child before my time is up ever again and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. 3yrs ago I lost my best friend and her son to a house fire, then 2wks after that I lost my Grandmother whom I was very close to then 5mths later I lost my Uncle whom was also my God father + 4yrs ago my hubby had a car accident and totalled our car due to an old lady running a red light cos she was late for a party - my hubby was a truck driver and now he can’t drive for long, he can’t lay, sit or stand for long, he gets severe headaches since the accident, he fractured his sternum due to the seatbelt + he fractured his wrist, he’s got torn ligaments all down the right side of his body which effects his nerves to, he gets flash backs + he broke the disc at S1L5 lower spine and over time he will be not able to feel himself needing to go to the toilet as the nerve that passes through there compresses where the disc has gone - he refuses surgery while he can still walk as the surgeon can’t guarantee he’ll come out walking, I do everything and run my business from home, we used to pick a direction drive for 5hrs stay somewhere different overnight with the boys but we can’t now as he can’t lay on certain beds, he won’t take pain meds that make him drowsy 💤 We rely on our income from Centrelink (Government) and my business. We call ourselves the NASA Family : N = Natasha (me) A = Alwyn (Hubby - Pom) S = Sam A = Aaron Even though iv been through a lot and still are on a lot of medications I wouldn’t change anything if I could go back as it’s made me the Mother & Wife I am today. We moved from the big city to a rural town and bought our first home outright 5mths ago and I’m proud of how far we’ve come. I’m closer to my dad now who has had heart problems with his pacemaker and we felt that family in the city 23hrs north of us have had time with the boys and it’s now my dad and step mums turn with the boys and us and now I’m only 30mins away from him. So that’s our story I make only Melt & Pour Soaps, Safest Candles & Melts in Australia + 💯% Natural Body Products + Packs Of All Sizes And for any occasion, I cater for any occasion, I’m a Qualified Aromatherapist and Naturopath, Enrolled Nurse, Qualified Chef For 7yrs so I have a few jobs to fall back on when business is slow. I am now the provider for my family. Thx for reading my story 🦋 Tash

Gorgeous soap Karen 😃 thanks so much for sharing. I like how you said the olden days because for me that's what it feels like 😃 I'm 43yrs old and trying to get my head around how much things have changed and deciding on what to share or not to share. The internet has changed things so much that sometimes I get overwhelmed by it all. How much is too much sharing? Overall sharing is fantastic and without your videos I wouldn't be soaping. But I always thought there was a line but is there anymore? TFS, Wendy

I just went through my house and collected everything I thought would make cute embeds. I robbed most of my earings, necklaces, belt buckles, ...... i stole a couple of my daughters shower curtain clips to make leafs for my flowers. Its amazing what you have just laying around your own home that you can make molds out of. I bet I have 500 cookie cutters. Some how I colled some, parents have me some..... kids use them growing up crafts and such. Now I took some ans "temporarily" glued them down and poured soap in them. I then took that soap and made molds from them. Now I have molds from my cool 500 cookie cutters lol. Naww, not 500 yet, but im sure some day. Cookie cutters are handy for the flat soaps that didnt makw the cut on another project. They can add coolness to another
