I remember my grandmother (she's from Mississippi, god rest her soul) used to make oxtails soup from her canned vegetables in jars!! Reminds me of beef vegetables soup. And yes she also trimmed her oxtails. But oxtails were sooo cheap back then.

I love oxtails. I always only made soup out of them. I am definetly going to try them. I can already taste it. I will make them in the pressure cooker after browning, I rather not use 8 hrs of electric and be smelling that all day it would drive myself and the dog nuts so one hour for me for the same result.
