I don’t have the palette,but I adore the fact that Melt named it after the British goth band Bauhaus & one of their albums: She’s in Parties with every shade being a song track from the album. I haven’t heard anyone mention this, so had to! Also with Pat McGrath mothership subversive palette has Siouxsie Sioux on the unicarton (UK musician) formally from Siouxsie & The Banshees. It’s the little things & I appreciate it because it acknowledges talents that were never mainstream but highly talented nonetheless. Thanks for the look & your insights Angie, as always!

I used to LOVE the Lolita formula and line when the lipstick first came out (before Kat lost her mind) and if the KVD matte formula is the same, it's amazing. I don't need a new palette, I've been on a bit of a makeup tear lately, but if I worked through a few of my singles and a few biba shades, I could see getting one of these palettes. And goodness knows, I have so many shimmers that I don't mind a matte palette.

Since I don't do browns, this is my type of "neutral" palette. I've yet to buy a Melt palette only because I always end up just liking exactly half of the palette colors so I can never justify the purchase. This is the only one so far that I was actually gonna get, but I have the Lolita palette (and the KVD plum quad that is just a smaller version and my favorite for an everyday quick staple look) so the only selling point to me was going to be the addition of shimmers conveniently in one palette. I'm soooo glad you did a quick comparison with the Lolita palette because now I know for sure that they're almost identical. I actually prefer the colors in the Lolita better (like that dark purple-black color) and the rest are either identical or close enough. After seeing the Melt swatches, I wouldn't end up using any of the shimmers like I thought except the first two, mostly the 2nd shimmer and I have similar shades to it anyway. So, looks like I am still awaiting the perfect Melt palette in which I will love and use ALL (or most) colors that I don't already have!

So glad you did this video. I have never owned the stacks but I did purchase this palette on sale and I used it this morning. I do have 3 other Melt palettes and I find they have a lot of fallout and are hard to blend but this one is my favorite! Completely different than all the others I have!

Melts mattes are known for fallout go with a light light hand it helps also helps if u set the primer for the mattes.

I like these types of colors a lot. I consider them my Alt Neutrals lol. I wear them most in the Fall when I typically wear more wine/berry/aubergine/mauve colored clothing. That's when I reach for the Mauve Obsession palette which has a very similar color story to this one.

"Skeleton’s Kiss" was pretty as an inner corner shade, but you were right; it is Beeee-utiful as a highlighter! Than you for doing that, I would love to see them release it as a highlight in a large pan! I could probably find someone selling the stack online, but if it isn’t the quality of the new one (it was definitely more pigmented), it would be wasting money & I do enough of that on my own 🤣! So I’ve noticed since I’ve gotten older (I’m 31) I need a different primer (one that’s not as tacky, which is weird because I’ve found the Milk Hydrogrip works best to keep foundation from sinking into the not so fine lines on my face), because I started to have patchiness in my crease and I thought I forgot how to do my eyeshadow for a while or that some formulas were bad. I was delighted to find out I just needed to switch my primer and palettes that I was a little disappointed about buying worked just fine with a different one. Right now I’m using the Kaleidos primer and it works great and no patchiness in the crease area on my one eye that no shadow would stick to before. -I wanted to add: I don’t set the Kaleidos eye primer, and I didn’t usually set the Smashbox one that gave me trouble, and even when I did try setting it I still had patchiness in the crease.

I snagged the Lolita palette on amazon a couple months ago. Glad I did. I remember wanting to buy it in the Sephora sale and it was in my cart, but I postponed checking out then it disappeared off the internet! I found ur channel becuz of Brit Clark :) I was watchn her LIVE & she was swatchn the new Juvia's place lip procucts & eyeshadows and she mentioned u & that so then I watched ur video on the lip swatches & was happy to see u had the whole collection. Then I came here to see the look u had on & see what u used but I really love the look of the pinky highlighter u had on, but u alrdy have ur face done b4 the video started & the highlighter wasnt listed so I was wandern what u used.
