What's up everybody? It has been a minute! How are you doing? How has everything been going for you? We sincerely hope that everyone is staying as positive as possible during this ongoing Covid pandemic crisis that's troubling the globe. We've been taking a break from vlogging. Daily vlogs took a tremendous toll on our health and well being, and somewhere in 2019 we decided to take a rest from vlogging. However, although it has been awhile since we filmed a vlog and uploaded it to this channel, we decided that we wanted to record and upload a proper vlog update for 2021. 2020 was unlike any year any of us has ever experienced. We are truly hopeful for 2021, the future and beyond. So, why not start out January 2021 with an update from Florida to let our favorite people know how we're doing!

Can I just say how genuinely I felt joy when I saw this notification? I have only just begun the vlog but it's like seeing a pair of old friends. Hi! 👋🏾 Edit* during covid I've been working in healthcare. At the beginning of the year we really just didnt know how bad it would be. All of the rude people on the internet became my every day. I *cannot* tell you how many times I have been yelled at for asking someone to wear a mask or for moving an appt to telehealth. I haven't had time off this whole time and it has worn me down so we decided to move back to where our friends/family are which gives me an opportunity to have a few weeks off of work. I hope to see you all again but no matter what, glad to see ya ✌🏾

Thank you for doing some videos. Everyone needs time off when they push themselves maybe too hard. You bounce back different and better than ever hopefully. Life didn't change too much here, just less going out and our only grocery store stopped delivery service! This forced me to a plan B, finding other sources usually canned food delivered, and one frozen delivery service. Using shelf stable soy milk, almond milk. So it all worked out okay. I am so tired at age 61 of shoveling snow in below zero temperatures. Town has a new law, in 48 hours one must clear main sidewalks. No one walks on them but it is a great money maker for the town, a law they enforce at last? I rose to the challenge, got a Shovelution shovel! I filmed when we got a 9 inch snow but we've had more this year than average. My cat has been a great snuggle companion all winter.

Oh so lovely to hear from y'all again! I'm very glad you're both okay. For me, the pandemic has been difficult but I have been able to get a safe job in public health that I love, connect more actively (via letters, weekly phone chats, and zoom parties) with friends and family than I ever did pre pandemic, actually!
