HELLO FRIENDS!! here is our re-posted livestream from last week! so sorry it took us a while to get it up, we were kind of messing around with ~what~ exactly the style of these re-posted streams should be, and we settled on "mostly unedited, but some fixes here and there". so a few disclaimers -- so sorry about the audio buzzing! we are working on that and hopefully should be solved asap. and, if you see any jump cuts -- we did edit out some big audio buzzes that we could cut out, and we cut some long pauses with dead space. other than that, this is basically the whole stream! captions should be up ASAP. our plan going forward is to re-post these faster, this is just our first one and we're still figuring everything out! hope to see you all at our stream tomorrow at 5pm eastern :). xoxo, saf

Saf - i think many viewers could tell that you were pressed during this livestream! Stressed about all the details being perfect, that you’d thought of all the shots you had to take before melonballing the candle, that the audience would be entertained at every single point, that you looked presentable, that lighting/sound would be uninterrupted at all times... Honestly it stressed me out a little seeing you so stressed out! As a viewer, please take it from me - those of us who watch livestreams do NOT expect the same level of polish a regular video would have. It’s live tv! Things happen. As long as you two are having a good time and things are RELATIVELY on schedule, it’s ok! We gotta improvise at times. So please don’t worry. I HATE watching livestreams and i only watch this because... it’s you guys and I like any content from y’all. Please don’t stress too much over the small details during the stream!

I think my favourite thing about this is how just genuinely loving and authentic they are. This isn’t different to their edited videos, which honestly I love a lot. i'm just gonna go with how i feel, but i think a lot of people might agree with me? i'm autistic and the way safiya enunciates every single syllable of a word and the general way in which she talks is actually really helpful to me. it makes me concentrate so much more and i actually understand and process what is being said. it also makes her sound very intelligent and like old-timesy, which i think is really cool. i also love the tone of her voice. it's like the opposite of annoying. i just love listening to her. they're also both very good with words, the flow of their speech feels incredibly natural. it's an all-round pleasant experience to watch and listen to their content and i think that a livestream really showed how good they are and how non-forced it felt too. EDIT: i just wanted to say thank you to everyone who likes and comments. this is genuinely such a nice experience. i've rarely felt this understood in an online space and it's a small thing, but i have gotten some ableism thrown my way before, so the opposite of it and actually relating to and interacting with other neurodivergent people and just having this small space right now feels very nice. thank you all!

I noticed during the live that Safiya was a little uncomfortable and I think it’s because she’s a perfectionist and wants everything to go right and do well, and seeing all of the comments about the buzzing and her body and stuff was kinda stressful. I don’t want to assume, but if that was the case... Saf, if these are adding more pressure and making you feel insecure... don’t do them! Okay? I think there might be a lot of guilt about “”””delayed”””” content or whatever. Don’t! We don’t care how often you post, we will keep on being here. Don’t feel like you need to produce anything if it’s harming you. And for the fans watching: keep in mind what your comments are! Don’t ever comment about someone’s appearance, that’s so rude. I think the asterisks on the “100% Fresh Beef” is so they can say, this _candle_ does not contain any beef. Also, I think they are soy candles, and that’s why they are soft and sticky.

Im pretty sure its because "100% fresh beef" is a claim and not just a food product. If they'd called it "beef" they wouldn't need to use the *. When you use a claim it has to have support/documentation behind it, but since this is the name of the candle they aren't actually claiming the candle is 100% fresh beef they have the *

To Saf and Tyler: KFC does, in fact, have a video game. It's a dating sim. They tried to make Colonel Sanders hot. No idea if it is actually available on the KFConsole, but it is a thing, somehow. And, in another instance of Colonel Sanders trying to be hot, they also made an approximately 15 minute Christmas romcom with Lifetime. KFC does some strange stuff.

I can tell that Safiya calms Tyler's anxiety just by being there. At times he seemed super anxious just by his body language and then she'd make him laugh and his body loosened up. ❤😫

I read Saf’s blog post, and watching her videos since then has made me so angry at people for criticizing her. In the blog post she said people were apparently critical of the way she treated Tyler (not sure why, they obviously love each other..), which I think shows up in this livestream. She keeps apologizing for micromanaging. I’ve been married for 10 years, I micromanage my husband too and it’s not because I want to, it’s because it’s an unfortunate necessity. He’s not as good at multitasking as I am, probably because I’m a woman and he’s a man. 🤷🏻‍♀️ That’s just how it is. It just bums me out that she feels the need to change herself because other people are assholes. I have loved Safiya since the second I saw her in my recommended. I think she’s so smart and funny and kind and it really drives me crazy that people would rather try to make her change than just be adults and not watch her content if they don’t like the way she talks or the way her relationship works. Ugh. Still, it’s great to see more stuff from them. I’ve missed their crazy hijinks.
