Great melt and awesome pour. Looks like it has a touch of a bronze color to it because of the little tin on the wire. Great job on the hammer look. 👍

Thanks James. Yeah that tin caused a funky surface on the back of them. A lot of little stuff flaked away when I hit it with the wire wheel. Fun to do though. Take care buddy!!

nice pour brother , I am melting brass tomorrow and just got new graphite molds and engraved them so hope they look good , sub you another like bro ! yeah as 4 the bumpy copper bar I had some brick when I did the poor might be the same

Does it have any tonal properties to it? I know it is a small amount of tin, but tin and copper make bronze, and bronze is what cymbals are made of

No, no, no - that's a clear coat to keep it from tarnishing. Keeps it nice and shiny. Most stuff I don't mind tarnishing but more artistic items I give it a spritz.
