The "Eagle" is Garuda. Garuda is the national symbol of Indonesia and mythologically seen as a protector of the nation and its people. In this video your see it first appear when the "hero" and his allies join forces and defeat the two-headed dragon (the occupying foreign armies) as a spirit of red lightning carrying them forth to victory. In the end Garuda awakens to fly over the land showing that he is ever present and watchful to inspire the people to keep hope and have faith in themselves as a nation. That is my interpretation, at least. A further note; Nationalistic pride in Indonesia (from everything i have seen and learned) is different from many other nations. They love their country, but not by hating others. Indonesia is one nation comprised of hundreds of cultures, and part of their national identity is that no culture should be oppressed or discriminated against. All of the cultures have something to offer and by appreciating each other we all gain from each other. Even going beyond that, they are the only country i know if that have very positive relations with their former rulers, oppressors, and occupiers. The nation has many problems, and there are always people who are exceptions to the norm, but as a whole they have a spirit that is hard to even grasp unless you have experienced it. (Sorry for gushing. I had to come back to US for 2 years and still have one more year before i can return to Indonesia. My mother plans to retire there.)

the two-headed dragon symbolizes the 2 countries that colonized Indonesia, the 5 sticks symbolize Pancasila, all Indonesian people unite to expel all invaders so that many heroes die on the battlefield. The bird that flies is the Garuda bird, the symbol of Indonesia.🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩

The eagle at the end is Garuda, the national symbol of Indonesia (their airline is called Garuda Indonesia). Garuda is the Sanskrit name for eagle, and again shows the Hindu roots of Indonesia, which are honoured even today, despite conversion to Islam.

You may notice 3 time periods in the video; 1. Peacefull Nusantara where all the people live in harmony with the mother earth, hundreds of tribe, kingdoms, languages across Nusantara (previous Indonesia) 2. The destruction period, where the Ducth come to Nusantara for trading in the beginning but later in the day they start colonise Nusantara for 350 years, continue with Japan 1942 - 1945 during WWII, we try to fight to reach back our independence during those period. However, we are fail in this period with million casualties. 3. The Independence, since 2008 we are fighting in using two ways approach continue direct war and also politic and diplomatics. In 1928 all Nusantara tribes, kingdoms and people finally agreed on one country, one language and one nation which is Indonesia then with this we have one spirit and together fight back and right after WWII we finally declare our Independence on 17 August 1945. The birds symbolising our Indonesian Country Symbol which is Garuda Indonesia and carry the banner said Unity in Diversity. (eventhough in the video it is not Garuda Bird but Jalak Bali bird instead which is the two little white birds in the video which is consider endangered species now ). Now we will celebrating our Independece again and hopely Alffy Rev release his new video on that that day. By the way, the spear that Alffy Rev carry in the video is Pataka Majapahit (the symbol of Majapahit KINGDOM Power which the one KIngdom that able to unify our Nusantara in one kingdom) Sadly this original Pataka now in the Metropolitan Museum of art, 1000 5th Avenue, New York, USA. museum we really expect that we can get this Pataka Back to our country as it is closely related our country history)

The weapon is called a trident in English (trishula in Sanskrit). It is highly symbolic of the Hindu roots of Indonesia. The dragon could symbolise the various invaders who wreaked havoc upon Indonesia.

The storyline in a video like this, the princess is a manifestation of the motherland. And 8 fairies are representatives of many tribes in Indonesia. And then the two -headed dragon is a manifestation of two colonial countries, (Dutch and Japanese) Then, the eagle is a manifestation of the motherland (after 8 fairies united, the motherland was reborn as the eagle). And the eagle named Garuda, the symbol of the Indonesian state.
