I really love the idea and look and price of this board… my biggest beef is the enter key seems really weak on almost every video I’ve watched for it. Seems space bar kicks pretty hard, and the other modifiers are decent. I don’t mind the “muted” sinchy/crunchy sound of the alphas. It’s just the modifiers sound so weak compared to their expected smack

I noticed that too! Probably due to the numerous flex cuts across the pcb. Taping them might help bring out more life.

What are your thoughts on the smoothness and sound of the switches? Seems pretty unique if the stem really is nylon, only other switch I can think of that has that are the KNC Tofu switches

I really love these switches! They're incredibly smooth stock and have basically no spring ping. Due to their long stems, it allows for a really nice, sharp, defined sound. The double stage springs also allow for a really snappy feel

Unfortunately the board was released via a group buy meaning there was select time period where you could buy the board. It is over now but there is a possibility of a re-release later this year. The board starts at 179 USD and all versions will include a wireless pcb

When you say pcb foam do you mean the case foam (foam on the back of the pcb) or you mean the pe foam?

It’s a great board, but it’s extremely expensive, and no way in hell am I paying $179 for a plate and PCB cuz I’m poor and I don’t want to spend so much money replacing it if I spill water on it.

Are you sure you’re looking at the correct price? It starts at 179 USD which consider is around the same price as the qk65 but for more material, imo it’s quite reasonable. Id say it’s more than just the plate and pcb, the design of the case looks and feel reasonably premium considering it’s price.

Are you sure your looking at the right place? You can get the full keyboard without the switches and pcb for 179 USD
