This is my first time with melty blood, I am struggling a little though, my inputs are not the cleanest, so sometimes I get an auto combo hit, instead of what I actually want, I need to clean my inputs up :)

@@xanthony1000x keep in mind i had very little time to play around with her since the most i got to use her was in a couple of cpu fights But i love her, pretty straightforward gameplan since i just do a small combo into a super then pull out tree for mix and call it a day But i find it really damn fun to do her combos with that 2 hit sword move Plus her personality is amazing(until you look at the lore and get crippling depression)

Love the character, I was streaming the game a day before release and not a single person asked to see Shiki, ended up trying him out afterwards and really like the character :)

No kidding. I'm using Shiki as my main. I've been having a blast in online mode. Me and this one dude who used Noel just kept getting wins back to back against each other. And the moments when the fights gets hyped up towards the end. Just, perfect.

Melty Blood Type Lumina is very combo friendly. I don’t say this because of smart combos but because it really is easy to do combos in this game, I tried a few fights with a copy from a friend and it is really good. When I have the money I’ll buy it❤️

Fighting games are the one genre you always want to buy week 1 instead of waiting for a sale. Makes it MUCH easier to find players your skill level and therefore MUCH easier to learn the game and have fun doing so. And if it's a more niche game (aka anything other than Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Smash, or Tekken) you pretty much have to play it when it's still new to even stand a chance. I made the mistake of starting Granblue (which is supposed to be a beginner-friendly game) when it was just about half a year old and I got so frustrated, it almost put me off of fighting games altogether

Doing that measly 1.8k combo isn't going to help him play neutral, gain any meaningful life lead, interact with the game mechanics, learn oki, learn match up knowledge, learn different combos for different situations, learn different blockstrings, learn how to hitconfirm, learn how to pressure, or learn how to move effectively. Auto combo isn't making this game any simpler lol

Cz if you played uniclr you’d know that u can’t do that type of iad inputting 96, You’d do 6D and it would do that dash. It was called assault. So I assumed it would have a similar input to uniclr but ig not rip

Online seems mostly really really smooth/good, but I've had a couple games where it roll backs a lot. I guess some connections are beyond help :p

It certainly takes some adjusting, I think if you're willing to put the time in, you'll enjoy it :) it has a mission mode and tutorial to teach combos/mechanics etc, I think it is accessible.

Definitely, if you're into 2D anime fighters, it has a challenge mode, insanely smooth online, and good training options, can't comment on the story stuff as I'll probably never touch it :p

yeah but UNIST is a game form 2012 is literally the same, with more mechanics and WAY better character design. The lore and sprites are way better in melty blood tho

This is just the first vanilla version, if we hit Actress Again depth in the future, it'll be the most complex out here. It's a damn good start though

Completely different game, and pretty bad take tbh. Uniclr is a great game imo, gameplay is very different from melty. Mechanics are different but I'm sure you didn't take the time to actually count which game had more mechanics not that having more mechanics is inherently a good thing

All I can suggest is practice your inputs :) it becomes muscle memory and easier to do.
