Everyone is so hard on lead singers who are pushing 60 now, it’s easy to forget that they’ve been abusing their bodies for decades on tour to bring the fans music. Non-vocalist musicians play an instrument to make noise, vocalists the use their own vocal chords which change and deteriorate with our bodies. He sounds good for his age

I think it’s fair to say he doesn’t sound 19 anymore. But so many critics here saying he sounds horrible. Just not true. He’s doing a pretty admirable job for a 55 year old man. It’s not perfect but there are some impressive notes there. Keep it up Sebastian. Screw the critics.

To be fair he didn't sound 100% like the album in 1991 either. You can watch that on KZbin. He is much stronger here in certain parts than he was back then.

His lower register here sounds truly amazing. He just can't hit those higher notes any more......that said, I haven't heard too many 20 somethings hit them either when trying to cover him. He was something else in his prime. Age affects everyone, but in those lower notes he is still on top of his game !

just heard Skid Row and there new singer didnt even know they were a band with out thid guy...didnt even know these bands where around or together or alive except Sabi be fighting with Jericho on the web and trying to fight people all the time but the SR new singer sounds like Sabi did when he was young ..but i got to say its like being at a Karaoke Bar with Axl and Vince and Sabi but age comes for us all most time the music sounds spot on but vocals are really bad its just a boost of NOSTALGIA and its hard for people to say that its bad cause we love are rock stars but i wont be going to see Guns and Roses thats for sure even though i love them and there back together im a singer and after 6 years not singing much and heath problems my band wanted a reunion after a long time i was so excited but my arms hands were going numb and my mother had died and father and brother and sister so ive had bad depression so i started to try to play and remember hot to do our old stuff and man i could not do anything over 10 mins but after 4 months of practice everyday i was able to stand and play 10 songs and sing but not as good as i did before..getting old sucks

Dude Skid Row been around ever since Sabi quit or got fired...they must had like 8 or 9 singers..the cat b4 this cat was really good too, but this cat really the closest they had since Sabi. Peo whine that it cover band but aside from drummer n of course Sabi Skid Row the same band right now that they were in their prime. Bach still have his followers bc he was such an iconic cat. But incase U did not know he was in canadian band called Madame X which was even Better than Skid Row. Let fact it as much as liked em they only made it bc of Sabos connection with Bon Jovi. Speaking of cover bands maybe it just me but from what seen n heard where at the point where the professional cover bands sound betta then the originals due today like Rokken who betta now than Dokken as a perfect example. IMO think the future will b where bands just have an AI robot singer so that his or her voice never goes away.
