Got to meet all of them back in sept 2007...Moore Theatre Seattle. Steve came out and shot the shit with about five of us ..for a good 30 minutes...talked about guitars and his tour...then his whole band came out Dave..Ann.. Alex Brian..and Jeremy and they gave us the same kind treatment!!...it was AWESOME Anne Calhoun gave my Wife and I big bear hugs!!lolz..Steve signed my OG PAWF CD cover poster pull out....all of the band was awesome and so nice!!!

That dude got the plot to Crossroads completely wrong. Ralph didnt sell his soul to the devil to play the way he did, the old man did. The old man was trying to get out of the deal with the devil so Ralph made a deal if he won the guitar battle then he could free the old man.

Growing up I saw bands wearing makeup and spandex put on a terrible show. Money spent on tickets to a band like this is a guaranteed solid show with great music. I've seen Steve five times and have never left disappointed.

His boy sidekick, wannabe bluesman Ralph, has a cherry low-mileage soul & wagers it as collateral to enter a blues guitar battle for reclaiming the old man's soul from Satan. Steve Vai performs on Satan's behalf in the blues contest, but Ralph finally wins it all by whipping out some surprise Paganini licks he learned back at Julliard -- and hooray, both souls are safe in the end! So what's the moral of this story, kids? Black folks' music is raw & funky & all, but only white men can compose music good enough to defeat the devil.
