We're bloody ecstatic to race our first horse with Strong Bloodstock.
The big black beauty, Pungo!
We're taking of him because BJ reckons he’ll be a fringe stakes horse in QLD.
They're walkers up here in the Sunshine State (apologies to Lloydy and all Qld’ers!)
Especially if he can recapture his best form.
I have seen it so often. Happy horse, happy owners (us) 🤝
But mostly importantly..
We want the chance to race him with our community of punters, that’s you!
He will race in combination silks, the blue and gold that is synonymous with Strong Bloodstock.
And of course, The Leg Up logo centre front.
It'll be great to spend our Saturdays at the races when the big fella is in.
Even though it’s pretty fun here at HQ and the beers are cold at the pub.
Think about that, we will be in the game. Owning a horse and not just cheering other people's horses from the barstool.
I can see it right now. A table at Eagle Farm races with a reserved sign for 'The Leg Up'.
Look out if you're a schooner on that day, especially if DJC can make it.

It'd be lovely to get him to the races in Feb, Ownership is the best thing in the world.
Don't get me wrong, backing a winner is great.
And our members have been backing a few of late, but......
If you haven't experienced what it's like to own a winner. It's a completely different experience.
Waiting for the race feels like walking into the Casino, but put that experience on steroids.
And when they win, there is no better feeling.
Doesn't matter how much you own.
A bit about the horse...
Pungo has been with Chris Waller for all of his ten starts.
He's had blokes in the saddle such as Bowman, McDonald, McEvoy and Moreira. So Waller had an opinion of him!
He was a heavily backed favourite in his second start after catching the eye from the back on debut.
He went straight to the front that day and looked like a potential star winning at Warwick Farm.
Waller then sent him straight from maiden grade to a Group 3 at Flemington and he started favourite.
Now, that tells me that in the early days, Chris Waller thought he had Group 1 potential.
Potential that he's yet to realise.
(Insert Campo to get the best out of him)
He was then spelled and returned in similar fashion winning first-up when well backed with McDonald in the saddle at Canterbury.
He's been below his best in six runs since but has had a few excuses.
He's already on his way to QLD and we reckon....
If we get the sun on his back in a new environment.
We should be able to get him to recapture his best, which would make him plenty of fun for the ownership group (us).
We've all seen what Campo has been able to do with tried horses in the past (think Deepour).
And he hasn't had many cattle in the calibre of this bloke.
Exciting stuff really.
Can't wait to see what he can do in QLD.
