Well I feel blessed to still be here growing up in Harlem in the streets since 14 .54 right now…I’ll never forget the night he got killed .the next week it was the talk…I was on Hamilton place 144…I no bruh Craig o for years..in the pic with him and doo wop..straight fly guy to this day….I think I was like 17 when this happened.never met him saw him driving by once…had 2 pit bulls one name Saab one name turbo..it was stories like these that I heard growing up that made me move the way I move…very carefully….I’m sure it was a ton of jealousy involved…you can’t be a name brand them days over…if you ain’t low you gonna go….

I wouldn't speak on this if I hadn't already done my homework. Craig O himself called them business partners. You're the only person I've ever heard claim Rich was his protege, and you didn't know them (unless you were there and you knew them personally then I stand corrected). Do you understand what a protege is? It's someone that you raise up under you, and school them to the game...a peer isn't your protege. Frank Lucas was Bumpy Johnson's protege (according to the movie). Giving someone work doesn't make them your protege.

Rich was already hustling when he was like 12 (according to his sister Pat) I don't even know if he knew LA at that time. Cuz remember in his first book he stated when he came back from Detroit, Rich and LA had hooked up and were already working together. But everyone always speaks about them as partners, never a student/teacher dynamic. That doesn't mean he never learned anything from LA but that would be like saying LA was Azie's protege because he learned the $10 gimmick from him. Learning a thing or two from someone doesn't mean you're their protege. I'm not trying to offend or disrespect just giving feedback on what I saw as a significant error
