My family used to grow their own peaches. We had the best fried peach pies and cobblers with fresh peaches. New Mexico has changed with the climate, and we can't get good fresh peaches anymore. We can not buy good peaches from the store over here in New mexico. We have to buy canned peaches. I love your recipe with these fresh peaches. What I would give to have my granny's fresh peach and fresh apricot Fried Pies. I can't wait to try this Peach dessert. Being in the state I am, I might have to use canned peaches.😢. There is no taste in this world like fresh homegrown peaches. What I would give awesome fresh homegrown peaches in the state of New mexico. I thoroughly enjoy watching you. You are so precious. Now this is right up my alley when it comes to peach desserts. Hmmm, how good would it be to add a drizzle of red raspberry sauce in the layers? Sort of like Peach Melba. One of my favorite simple summertime desserts is to macerate some peaches with some sugar to release their juices and then to stir them into some cooked cooled rice. Sprinkle each serving with some cinnamon and a dollop of whipped cream/cool whip. MeMe, you and K.K. are the best! I just love watching you two. You both are the sweetest peaches on earth!🤗😘🥰
