I ordered your wonderful cookbook last week and have spent this rainy day reading it from cover to cover. I love it❤ I have spent the last 3 hours watching your videos on KZbin. I can't wait to start cooking some of your delicious recipes. My precious mama almost always cooked everything from scratch and by memory. I have missed her home cooking so much these past 10 years. I wish I had paid more attention when I was in her kitchen growing up. She made her macaroni and cheese exactly like you as well as potato salad. I can't wait to make the chicken casserole! That's going to be supper this Friday. I'll turn 60 this fall and I am just learning to make chicken casserole 😂

I grew up with a Mema who wasn’t much of a cook while I was growing up. My mother said that Mema always made short cut meals when she was growing up and always cooked a roast and a pound cake for Sunday dinner. I’m a Meme to my grandchildren and I always enjoy cooking for special occasions for my family but otherwise I don’t enjoy cooking. Thank you for showing me a much easier way to deal with my pork loin from Sam's, l buy those too,pretty regularly,lf there's a hard way to do something l always choose that way. I have made the biggest messes trying to unwrap it and manhandle the long heavy thing and cut it unwrapped,without dripping pork juice all over the kitchen,lm putting the thing in my clean sink,and cut it through the wrapper and wash the juice down the sink,Thank you for the recipes,it sounds so good,and it's so pretty.

Meme, my mom always made cranberry relish at Thanksgiving and now I make it. I use a can of whole berry cranberry sauce, grated orange peel and chopped walnuts. I love making pork loins and they definitely are inexpensive. I found one online that my entire family loves and it was “Pork Loin with the world’s greatest rub.” Anytime a recipe says it’s the best, I have to try it! Lol😊I’m going to try yours too! My son-in-law's mother made a wonderful "fluffy stuff"recipe i love, could eat the whole thing!! Finely Chop 1# bag raw cranberries,add cup white sugar(or sweeten to taste, and let sit few hrs,then add container of cool whip,cup miniature marshmallows, chopped nuts, chopped apple,stir together. You can add anything you want,other fruit,or whatever. Let sit covered overnight or few hours.

Ms. Diane, everything looks so delicious. I am going to see how much I can reduce the brown sugar glaze and not compromise the taste. I would love to do the cranberry dish, but I know I have to really limit my sugar. I am going to do my best "to shine for Jesus." Your love for Jesus and your family shines through.. Maybe, I could do the tenderloin and serve with an apple pie. That way, I could not limit the meat, because I could be very strict with the apple pie side dish.
