Love it. As a 55 yo who's lost his parents & grandparent, this hit close. I can't stress how much I wish I had heard more of their stories and encourage everyone who has a good relationship with your folks, do it! Looking forward more like this. ❤

Ive lost both of my grandpas and I would give anything to sit down and listen to one of their stories again... Im grateful to still have both grandmas that I can talk to still. Thank you Grim! I am excited for the next one. I can't guarantee when itll come out, but I know the next one will be coming!

As someone that has heard this term before, you also need to remember another thing, "Memento Vivere", meaning "remember that you must live.", this means that while we should definitely still think of the shortness that life is and that death exists for all of us, we should still live it to the fullest and do what we can to live.

Beautiful Scrubby! That is absolutely correct! Live each day to the fullest while also looking to make that small difference around you! Love it! Thank you for the comment!

better to have a life spent doing the things you love than to spend your life doing something you resent everyday! great topic, my cousin and I just spent an afternoon with our grandma who's at the later side of her story here on earth. it felt good to catch up with a loved one but its also I reminder to make the most of what you have while you have it.

That is the exact feeling I had when I spent time with my grandma. Its important to remember that we all have limited time, and to make the best out of that time! Thank you for commenting!

The couch is a great idea! Definitely gives you an outlet for things you wouldn't normally vlog/make content about. Also a wonderful message. So many of us continue to do the daily grind without taking the chance to actually live and be present. Thank you for this reminder, Brownie.

Thank you Mantis! Thats the whole idea. It may also be a great Q&A or AMA format too! The possibilities are endless! Glad you enjoyed the message. Just something I have been thinking about and wanted to share it!

Dude! Solid entry, The Couch is a great idea, and a solid first session too :) Two thumbs up for Sky as well, he’s a solid guy :) Btw he lives in the Netherlands/Holland, pretty close to Amsterdam in a place called Harlem :) As for you couch session and todays topic, there is a norwegian childrens story about Cardamom Town, and in this town they have just one law: «One shall not bother others, one shall be nice and kind, otherwise one may do as one pleases.» - and that pretty much sums up a decent way of life - making the world a better place, to me, means treating the people *in* that world nice, day by day it could be a smile and a pleasant «hello» to the cashier at the grocery store, stop and let somebody through the door before you, holding it for them, let people feel seen and noticed, and generally have a positive attitude towards things. Every grumpy person one meets usually have a story, something that weighs them down, and sometimes all it takes is a kind word and a smile to turn someone around. It’s like doing youtube and everything else in life, one step at a time, one person at a time, solve one riddle, do one task, then on to the next one, that’s the only way to make changes over time, and by the time life comes to an end one can look back and smile :)

The Netherlands! Thank you! I was struggling with that because I knew he had said where he is at and I just couldnt remember! I also love that children's story concept! It meshes beautifully with this thought! Thank you for adding to this discussion! Every person has a story. Thats a great way to think as well! Thank you!
