I just found this video, good job on the explanations and your decision-making in terms of ratios. The deck has a steep learning-curve, making it pretty rough to "perfect". My two cents in terms of ratios: I prefer 2 Goblins as it's another 1 card starter, but thats preference as that combo is insanely fragile and very punishing to be stopped on. And I also prefer 1 Tacuhtlica at the moment even though playing 2 also improves your ceiling and grind game considerably as neither it's summoning condition nor it's special summon effect are hard once per turns, with the effect to special something being once per copy which makes it almost impossible to prevent it fully, and the option to summon multiple making for very swift reverse kills. But it's a brick either way. On the topic of Tecuhtlica: Azalea is also great to enable Tecuhtlica's "UCT-like" effect to just attack every monster our opponent controls, which can very easily just mean game out of nowhere, especially against rather defensive decks like Melodious. Tecuhtlica by itself is not an easy card to use well.

Hey! So in order of points...I'm still learning new things about it even today haha. 2 Goblin vs 1 - So, it's kinda of what you said, it is a 1 card combo, but it's also so fragile and low swinging that I don't think running 2 for the sake of having 1 more one card engine is really worth it. Tatsu has the advantage of having a special summon effect so even though that combo isn't great either, gotta do 3. I personally am running 1 for 1, so it's KINDA 2 Goblin's with a little more modularity. All that said, I don't think 2 is wrong objectively, I just personally don't think you need the 2nd. Agree on ALMOST everything you said about Combined Creation, it's a weird kinda not a brick, since it's free fuel for Twin Dragon, Bone Party, Dark Blade, and 1 for 1 if you're on it, plus opening it does free up a Twin search. Again tho, I go 1 here as well, but just wanted to make the mention that hard opening it does have uses. Azalea's self pop effect really does come in clutch SO often haha, I love her for it.

Yea this deck is mad fun. Chaos Angel also pops up with the fusion + Angwitch or Ghattic + Dragon. I prefer Fusion + Angwitch though. I've had some moderate success with Book of Eclipse in the side. It has synergy with Bone Party's GY effect and you can steal some games with that combo.

I actually was on Eclipse for very early builds, it did come up, including with Bone Party, but I ended up taking it out. Just the nature of the end boards, it lots a lot of use for using it on my opp's board unless my turn totally bombed out

I'm finding Chaos Angel a really good option. It can be made with Ghattic + Dragon or (even better cause Light and Dark) Witch + Fusion. He big, he banish, he protec from battle if you miss OTK. I'm liking him a lot.

Chaos Angel is absolutely a solid pick! Pre-Fusion Memento I did have it there! I don't think there's anything wrong with the card, it's really good, I've just found that everything I'm on in the ex-deck covers what CA does. That said tho, absolutely a solid choice!

What are your thoughts on the Shaddoll engine in the deck? 1 Falco, 1 Winda, and 1 Spright Sprind to send the falco. It was in a top 32 in that 8000 man Japanese YCS. Basically Ghatic and whatever make Sprind, send and summon Falco, re-set fusion or search another one, fuse the Falco and revived Dark Witch into Winda. I found its very consistent and works, but may not be the hardest board to break.

I had heard about it but I didn't look to deep into it. How do you get fusion into rotation? It sounds very interesting! (I actually tried a Nadir/Shadoll package in wave 1 Memento funny enough haha)

@keasbeytcg Sorry, I thought I responded to this earlier. So you typically get the fusion off of Mace or draw it ideally. But also searching off of banishing a fusion in grave is also ok. The worst scenario is the goblin sending a fusion to get back with ghatic or re set with field spell as I believe it leaves you with only a fusion set and creation on field (and field spell). The main issue I find with this is that you are forced to only have 1 other memento backrow even if you are uninterrupted. You are typically forced to only set the cranium burst in addition to the fusion. So you almost never have access to bone party or fracture dance. Also inherently you have less interaction as you don't have IP or SP. Sure, Winda is super nice to stop them, but if they have imperm, droplets, or use talents to take creation you are pretty much boned. 😅

A relatively niche scenario for an argument for 2 Combined Creation that came up at my locals yesterday, I was on Voiceless Voice, my opponent was the one on Memento. CC's summon being an inherent summon makes it weak to Sauravis, so I could set up and catch his CC with it. He did have the second CC to continue trying to push pressure after losing his first. So for as long as VV is popular, that is another argument for a second CC.

For sure, and yeah, I personally don't think 1 or 2 is objectively correct over the other. I personally prefer one, even in the scenario you mentioned, if you have the resources for 2 CC's, since you need 2 sets of 5 names, you likely can force the Sauron with an SP or Azaliza before going into CC

@@keasbeytcg I think the main argument for 2 is SP little knight, if they banish Combined Creation your entire gameplan is just cooked because you cant recover it. Sure you can protect with Goblin but thats not overly consistent but everyone has and plays little knight

The continuous trap is a bit winmore more with everyone playing Ghost Ogre. I think Fracture Dance is better to draw and more versatile.

Book marking this because I want to give a better answer but can't atm. The trap is VERY strong overall, and generally if you're going to be hit with Ogre, unless your opp hard draw it for turn, you'd be Ogred during your own turn

Yo quick question, why dont you play the Goblin Biker engine? Its only 6 cards and it always seemed to me that having a way to start your combo without having to normal summon is powerful enough to justify the engine. I mean being able to special goblin without normal summoning is why one for one is good right?

It's a deck space choice! The Goblin Biker engine is a consisteny boost at the cost of hand trap/generic play e extender space. I think the deck is consistent enough as is without it. It's for sure a cool engine, and it has merit in letting you bait interuption without commiting a normal, but ultimately I just found more success in a more streamlined direct build

Ghost mourner doesnt work on your own turn The way ghost mourner is worded it has to be chain link 1 So ops on summon trigger effect will be chainlink 2

Ghost Mourner absolutely works on your own turn. Ex. You go CL 1 Witch, they go Cl 2 Bystial Magnamhut Chain resolvea Now on a new Chain, the Bystial will be CL1 because its a trigger effect, then you can Mourner it on CL 2
