The creation of this song originally didn’t have anything to do with memes and was actually my attempt at creating an anthem of sorts similar to the tune played on “Australian Anzac Day” to commemorate the lost soldiers.
I think I strike a nice balance between mournful a graceful throughout the song.
I thought the idea of just adding some ridiculous pickle cat (funniest sh** I’ve ever seen) in a coffin as the cover of the video, would be hilarious.
Because, the song cover makes it seem like the viewer just stumbled across a commemoration song for the death of a pickle cat, an event that the viewer has no understanding or prior context of, so it’s confusingly interesting to them.
It’s a similar vibe to those “KZbin Checkpoints” where the algorithm brings people together on a weirdly specific video, and people use the opportunity to talk about life and the platform rather than what’s going on in the actual video.
