I know this video is a year old but there's genuine logic behind listening to melons The whole point of listening to the melon and knocking on it is to hear if it has some hollow space inside. When watermelon cantaloupe and other similar melons start to go bad they start to sort of shrink on the inside and leave large open air pockets. If you've ever opened a watermelon that had a lot of air pockets and tasted it it's probably tasted pretty bad. This is what you're listening for. if you knock on it and it sounds hollow that means it's starting to go bad but if you knock on it and it sounds solid that means it's nice and fresh

At 17:30 that cat is Charlie( after the meme), and that was my father's old house. He is a chunky kitty now and I am know longer talking to him. Its quite weird to see one of my father's videos in a meme compilation. Originally there was a trash can behind the cat tree. I guess it was recorded when we first gave him Charlie before his moved it into the dining room. Charlie had a brother named Luke ( because the first of the star wars rey sage movie was released) but he had to be put down due to him getting a blood clot in his back legs. At he time, he also had a cat named Sarafina, a Siamese cat I think? But she was put into rescue because she was eating the carpets in his new house. Anyway I miss the 2016-2017 days.
