By the way, the court tv episodes aren't really fake. In many cases they are actors acting out real cases that happened. They actually aren't fake, in other words, some poor sap out there actually went to prison for 5 years for a kid that wasn't his.

@Hoozooh League there are injustices all around. That didn’t happen to my mom but she got stuck paying ten thousand dollars of debt that wasn’t hers in the divorce and my dad rarely gave her child support. He lied about being sterile to get her pregnant so she couldn’t leave, was abusive and a cheater for 20 years, accumulated debt she didn’t know about, got the debt placed in the house, and then when he left and gave her it during the divorce didn’t mention a thing about the debt and when everything was done by taking the house she unknowingly took on all the debt. Also I could be wrong but didn’t the guys say this was from a show or something so it’s scripted? I could be wrong on that but either way I’m sure someone has been screwed like that in the past. Divorces can suck.

@@bluegirl278 Why, if she knew all of those negative things about him, would she sign any documents without reading them? It doesn't make sense on what you are saying because the "debt" would be in the form of a bank loan and you can't pass on a bank loan to someone else, they have to apply for and get refinannced in a separate loan in their name. There is no "accidentally" signing a document and taking over a mortgage.

@@vanhattfield8292 no, his debt got put onto the house because it was debt to the government of the province we live in. They placed a lean on the house because he refused to pay and hid. once she gained custody of the house in the separation agreement any expenses put onto the house were hers to pay. She and her lawyers were the ones asking for the house in the agreement so I could finish school in the same area. Neither of them were aware of the debt when they divided up property. They made the contract because he ran off for a few years and refused to be served divorce papers so my moms lawyer drafted everything for the separation agreement and divorce as far as I know. I guess I phrased it confusingly in my first comment. I tried to make it clearer in my edit. I also could just be explaining it weird, sorry I’m not very good with certain legal stuff and it’s been a few years since it happened. All I know is the basic stuff I could glean when we talked with her lawyer and when I talked with my parents.

@Bluegirl 27 Yeah they always suck ( for the kids especially). That's a fact. I don't live in the US, but I couldn't see my dad from ages 6 till 9. Or very rare visits only. He was a federal employee and had to carry and possess firearms. My mom (love her to death, but she's bipolar and never takes her pills sadly) just had to say she was worried about the guns. Luckily, dad is stoic and did everything he could within the rules to have the right to be an equal parent. The case was FastTracked because he was a federal agent. I sure hope things have changed at least a bit. Because just for that exact reason, I do not want children. I'm prone to do stupid shit when I'm very angry, and some woman taking the kids away would straight up make me go insane. My father has never shown any pain to me and has never, ever said anything mean about his ex in front of me. Meanwhile, just last week, my downstairs neighbors threatened me, and I ran after the mofos around the block 😑 They were having a drunken party on a week night. JUST THIS was enough to light my fuckin fuse. I don't want to risk having kids and lose them. I know I wouldn't handle it.

Mr. Manson, Ms. Sehr, and Dylan sued the Missourian lab, Roche Biomedical Laboratories, for a botched paternity test claiming that Mr. Manson was 99.6% Dylan's father. Mr. Manson spent over $30,000 in child support and spent 5 years in prison when he fell behind on those payments. The fact that Ms. Sehr even knew who the real father was makes this whole thing even more fucked up.
