Hey guys i've been watching you guys for about 4-5 years now and I have been a furry since 2015. Before I became a furry, I disliked them for the very same misconceptions most people have now but then i met some and they were just normal ass people. I learned that the furry fandom isn't a kink or inherently sexual. It just an aesthetic. People just make characters and dress up as them(Just like cosplay). Is there degeneracy? yes but there is just as much degeneracy in every other fandom. Furries just get more flak about it because of previous misrepresentations, misinformation, misconceptions or simply because they want to dress up in dog suit. There is just so much more to fandom than lewd stuff. There are furry musicians, djs, artists, game developers, car enthusiasts, costume designers, animators, streamers, etc. I find it weird that everyone focuses on one con that went wrong back in 2015 and use that to judge the current furry community or the community as whole. A con that majority of the fandom now had nothing to do with and condemn. There has never been an incident like that since then. Cons have better rules and regulations now and if there is even of trace of illegal activity its reported to the proper authorities either before and during the convention. I have been to only been to one furry con (FWA 2022) and i enjoyed my time there. I bought art, went to raves in the ballroom, met most of the friends i made online, and i went to room parties. you could dance, have a drink, and the staff did an amazing job regulating the event. The staff were just amazing and helpful in general. I was super nervous going in because it was my first time going to a con but it was a great experience and i will gladly go again. Also to you Nate, you say you dont judge but every time you say "fucking furries" it comes off as judgment and i have noticed that attitude towards us becoming a thing on the channel. Which is unfortunate for me because you are my favorite person on the channel. You can have your opinions about us but i feel you should be informed that we aren't all a bunch of horny junkies.

As someone who lives in the city that hosts AnthroCon every year, I've seen how much positivity the furry community brings to the city! Whenever the con is hosted it helps surrounding businesses bring in money. Con goers will parade around the convention center to the delight of kids and people passing by! The majority see them no different from any mascot that you might know of!

Just because a couple of bads things happen at one furcon doesn’t mean it happen at all furcons. About 90-95% of furry condemn what happen at rainfurrest. Don’t misinformed your fans about furry convention, majority of furry going to furcon don’t do the nasty stuff. Have you experienced or see any of the stuff you said. Don’t talk bad about the furry fandom until you actually have some bad experience with it.

I guess he said that that was the 'deep' end, but yeah it did sound a bit prejudiced since anime and any other popular hobby can invite weird people. Furry can just be liking the aesthetic, and if you like Mickey Mouse or Rocket Raccoon, you're a furry. It really doesn't need to have anything to do with sex.

@@RenegadesReact the only thing is that you didn't explain that the majority is actually upstanding people. Not only that you just went "Yes and no" on the beastiality question. There are people who aren't furries who do that horrible act. All I ask is just don't put us in the same box with all the horrible parts of a Fandom. Jokes I can get, but when you start saying stuff like this, you indirectly hurt your subscribers who are part of that fandbase with these words. I still enjoy watching your videos but just know that we are human too and humans are very different from one another.

Things that happened in Rain Furrest: People in Fursuits and costumes, cool okay, that's the only tame part: A lot of people wore diapers, many were full, and thrown about everywhere. There was a ball pit, they peed in it. There was a pool, they threw towels in it, clogged up some machines and broke them too. Smoked a lot of drugs and had orgies. 1 person clogged/broke the sink in their room which flooded an entire floor. It was a disaster really, so bad that the hotel that hosted the event notified all the other hotels in the vicinity not to host Rain Furrest. The guys who hosted the event blamed it on someone calling the cops, but not so many people being disgusting.

Furry cons are not like rainforest at all. That was one of the worse examples of mismanagement out there. Pretty much the Dashcon of furry conventions. I’ve been to ones like anthrocon and none of that crap is tolerated at all there.

I don't judge furries. Partially because I understand that the really disturbingly weird ones make up a very small portion of the whole community. It's not about bestiality, except for that small part of the community. The rest of it, from what I've seen, is actually quite wholesome, though there are some behaviours in it that do cause me to cringe a bit.
