The passageway was close to some fences of houses and there was a dog who would bark at the kids coming by at one of them. One day, one of my friends said, “Bark if your name is Towie,” and the dog barked, so we called him Towie. I still go that way after school, but now there’s a sidewalk so it doesn’t go as close to the houses and who knows if the dog still lives there.
