If you are like me and use the seaglide for all swimming, use the charge fins. Fins actually don't affect your sea-glide speed, and charge fins can power it indefinitely. The use of the ultra-glide fins is being able to swim at a reasonable speed without the seaglide.

They are really slow, and by the time you get them, you have access to really good power sources elsewhere.

@@JoeEnderman I think they are great, because they allow you to use your seaglide indefenetly, with the ultra glide ones, you are faster, but have to carryy around extra batterys.

My repair tool is out of power and my cyclops sprung a hole in the side! Oh wait,while I was swimming over to the hole my repair tool charged and my cyclops is fine. You have no right to say anything about the swim charge fins until you have worn them and have removed all battery chargers from your base in the blink of an eye!

Was it just me, or were most hostile creatures only hostile after you scanned them? I never got drawn in by a memser until 2 days later after I scanned it. A stalker didn't attack me until I fully scanned it. Even a Ghost Leviathan didn't attack me while I scanned it.

@@SoloWingGutman in my opinion the Cyclops was *too* good. Not only is it invincible and easily sustained in the right hands but it completely removed the need for a base, you can beat the entire game with nothing but your Cyclops and a multipurpose room if you wanted to. The seatruck is fragile and has a lot more drawbacks compared to the Cyclops, making it more balanced and giving you more fun.

@Yoz Zero Yes, but seatruck with perimeter defense system is all but impervious to attacks, at least with the cyclops you had to get out and find the damaged areas which may not be so easy in hostile biomes . . . I can pop out of my seatruck between the attack phase of any leviathan and fully repair the damage. I do agree however, that in terms of storage and stuff the cyclops was probably a little bit overpowered.

The cyclops is not bad. It is just dificult to operate, It is a full sized submarine, even the game tells you that it needs to be operated by a crew of 3. Building the cyclops is also very difficult as it has 3 main components that each have 3 scanneables pieces (meaning you need to find 9 pieces in total, in 3 individual sets) and it is expensive to build. That said, it brings aboard a mobile base that can be built on, can reach the deepest biomes (if you find a way where you can fit it though), provides a safe way to travel, that only the leviathan class creatures and crabsquids can damage, can transport quickly the PRAWN suit (the best vehicle in the games), recharge its batteries and also repair it if you have the upgrade. But best of all, it has an awesome voice. But yeah for quick travels use the seamoth and for deeper resource gathering use the PRAWN suit. Those two uses are what you need most.

Its fucking slow and you cant avoid attacks, its also not practical in most biomes due to geting stuck.

@@derdrache0512 It is meant for deeper Biomes. Yeah, it gets stuck, but it is an awesome mobile base for the late game. Get some upgrades, and it'll handle attacks from anything. Get the thermal reactor to charge it, and it will never run out of charge. Only works in active lava zone to my knowledge.
