I was so scared at this time last year. When I found GameBoys it helped me knowing that other people were experiencing that same fear and isolation as part of the plot of the series, but also as to the way it was filmed. It helped me to feel connected as part of a community of viewers. I will never forget how GameBoys and Kokoy and Elijah gave me pockets of happiness during such a tragedy. It's a god tier show and it has a place in my heart.

I am an really old fart who watched Gameboys. I was floored by the acting and their crying scenes. Wow. They both cried on cue without any breakaway shots to get artificial tears flowing. That was some freaking dedication! I think alot of people (gay/straight) would just love to be wooed the way that Gav did it. It was sooo damned cute!!! I loved his persistency and his determination and I loved the way the Cai had to show how uncertain of it all he was. Really great job of making a much more timely series for the today crowd. Who cannot root for these two??

I accidentally watched Gameboys on Netflix here In California. It’s recommended because of PRIDE MONTH. I don’t watch Filipino movies or tv series because they’re terrible. But this show, sobrang ganda. The story was so good and the actors were all great but si Kokoy grabe. You’re such a great actor. Ang lakas ng appeal niya and screen presence. I literally binged this show and I can’t wait to watch Gameboys 2. Totally unexpected to. I’m now a fan of Kokoy. 😍
