First...i am so sad to hear of your loss. Times there just really are no words of comfort....grief is quite the heavy load. I am glad you have such fond memories. Im not good at this.... Hi Johanna, I'm so sorry to hear about your nana. I am happy that she loved as long as she did, and happy she got to meet your children. I have a few memories of my great-grandmother; your kids might retain them, but even if they don't quite remember her as they get older, they have the lovely photos you have and journaled with. Your family seems to be quite close-knit, and I imagine you have tons of beautiful memories together. And I must admit, I'm SO jealous your nan had a farm and horses! I really love this book. I have been thinking for a few months on making one in honor of some family members; one of whom is my grandmother. I have all these ideas floating around but not a real plan to put it together yet. This video is helping me though, and I thank you for sharing it. I think you found a beautiful way to celebrate so many things about her, and it's something your family must really appreciate. Grandmothers are a special kind of people for those of us who are lucky to have known ours and been loved by them. I'm glad you had yours for so much of your life. Hope that's ok to say. Thanks again for sharing such a personal thing with us and for the inspiration in making such a special way to remember our loved ones. 💖
