Anyone remember Festie the Easterhouse superhero painted in the community centre? That was me. And yes, I had to paint out and lower the figure because of where the fire alarm button was accidentally placed. ( By the way, anyone who saw the first Festie thought it was hilarious. I mean, break glass here in case of emergencies?) I had to work on it for a whole day and night so that it wouldn’t be an embarrassment with the Lord Mayor turning up the next day. I finished it on time but the paint was still a bit damp. I was totally cream crackered by the end of it. 😳😄
