Watching this movie and seeing that ending for the first time left me with such a feeling of emptiness and sadness that no movie had ever done before. It's so haunting yet beautiful at the same time. The music, cinematography, acting, everything is just perfect. This may be the best movie I have ever seen. Definitely Ho's best film.

One of the best endings ever for sure and movie was quite great as well. But, i revisited here after all this years for the ending theme/soundtrack but it must be accompanied by his last face expression and head turn :).

The director said that he made the actor looked at us at the end in search for the criminal. This movie is based in real events. It was 2003 and they still haven't cought the man. Finally the police founded who was the criminal in 2006, he was already in jail for another crime and I think he said that he watched this movie.
