Love this video!!’ It’s seems intimidating to buy a plane, but it seems totally worth it!

Boy that brought back great memories of flying my Dad's new Maule M5 180C. I got a check ride at the factory with Ray Maule when we picked it up. Ray was a great instructor checked me out for short field in a actual hay field. Then a night flying check out at another airport with lights & him landing in complete darkness at Spence. Also my first plane was a Cessna 140. Thanks for the memories.

Awesome! The M5 is a great bird! I’ve flown the 235 version personally and liked it.

Awesome video ... well done! She was a beautiful plane and the 'retracing' flight for your UG Thesis must have been a Blast ... Congrats!. The last Maule I flew was in 1971 and the last single recip was around 1984 (then TP's, Lear's, Gulfstream's and Global's until retirement in 2019). I'm currently restoring a 1971 M-4-220 that I recently purchased and this video gives me positive energy and warm-fuzzies at the same time ... so Thanx! Subbed ... ^v^

Where was the photo taken at 3:40? I know that aircraft in the background. I've seen it here in Anchorage AK.

It’s JAARS Facility in Waxhaw, North Carolina. It’s a helio they use in training there.
