Beautifully done. The actors were fine, but it was something about Pernell Roberts, it wasn't just the fact he was beautiful in all the right places. It was his spirit, the man had a beautiful soul. Miss you,my friend. Rest in peace.

This is the first time I have viewed this video and I love it! Included good and bad times as well as happy and sad moments. What I especially enjoyed was the equal time given to each member of the Cartwrights! Loved this show and am glad we have videos such as this to remember all the very talented actors. I remember when I was a kid, back in Brazil, in the '60's; every Sunday everyone would run to the only house on the street that had a TV to watch Bonanza. When we came to Canada in 1967, we sure as heck didn't stop watching it. Even now, I still enjoy watching the reruns whenever I get a chance because together, Ben and his sons really showed what a family can accomplish when they stick together. They really showed in the episodes, how much easier it is to handle your problems by talking it out calmly, without any violence when possible.

You'd think after 60 years and all I've seen and lived through that I wouldn't still tear up just seeing these four men together. I know that Pernell wasn't happy with the show and it's scripts. However, I will never believe that he didn't enjoy the friendship. As with any job, he had to weigh all the pros and cons as he saw them. We've all been there. The difference is that we didn't have millions of people watching us come to the decision

From what I read on the situation, Roberts was given a small party the last day of filming on Bonanza. I don't think there was an iota of anger towards the actors, he stayed in touch with them until their deaths. It was reported when he found out about the death of Lorene Greene, he broke into tears. Some cast members of shows never talk again, but it's good to know that these four stayed friends. And yeah, despite the fact that he loved working with them, it still had to be painful to leave. A person just cannot say that working with the same people for six years does not mean anything. Leaving a popular show as the TV pubic watches must have been stressful, because everyone knows how famous you are. During the final year of his life, a neighbor brought Roberts her laptop to view the Bonanza website. He had no idea that people still loved the show and the character he portrayed on TV years later. I just hope he knew just how much he was loved by millions, and reconcile himself to that idea and feelings about his time on the show.

sandra sanders Thank you for sharing that. I have hoped that Pernell had the chance to really see just how much Bonanza was loved and how we so loved him as the others. Most of these videos were made after his death; but I hope he got to watch some of them. I read that he eventually regretted leaving Bonanza; I only wish he had before it was too late and gone back. How we would of loved to have had our Adam back. ❤️

Loved the video but did not like the music. It was scary and sad. Depressing in my opinion. The videos make it seem like they are still alive, but the music reminds me that they are long gone. I really enjoy watching episodes of Bonanza, and appreciate the laughs and lessons that were taught. I appreciate people like you who post these videos that keep the memory of these talented and handsome actors alive. I'm just saying that the music for this particular video is kind of sad to me.
