I lived in the Bottom Odd and my best friend Susan her mum and dad had the newsagents shop, Mr & Mrs Lacey. Very happy days. Really enjoyed this video thanks.

Thank you for this video. I just found my great grand mother's birth certificate and she was born in Wyke. I am thrilled to find this video to get an idea of where she walked.

This is absolutely fantastic. I purchased a late victorian house on Green Lane last year (I think you can see it at 3:32) and I've been researching the history of the area. It's incredible to see these old photos. Great video!

where i was born and bred....used to be such a beautiful village. Such a tight knit community. salt of the earth people. and look at all the greenery/ its now a concrete jungle full of chavs. wish id have been born in 1901 as oppsoed to 1982

My late ex- husband came from Wyke , we did our dating in Wyke , Top Odd and Bottom Odd Pubs. Nice memories.
