Wow..never thought I would see Lomba Da Maia on video..bringing back some great memories My grandparents house was right across from the old school house before you would cross the bridge going into center of town and the church..haven't been back in 27 years... need to go back and show my kids the beautiful island Sao Miguel Acores Great video God Bless

I spent two weeks on the island of São Miguel in January. It was my first time visiting the Azores. Such an absolutely amazing and mystical place. I can’t wait to go back one day. Greetings from Texas!

My father is from lomba da maia were the cagarros that's my grandfather's side they got then being from santa maria he immigrated to lomba da maia when he was 18 sometime in the 60s and my grandmother's family name is the redondos . Shes 83 and my grandfather unforntualey is passed on and his grave is on this video the little plaque behind where you laid down flowers . Maybe she will remember your aunt and other family members from the pictures .
