Everytime I hear this the same exact idea pops into my head. The human experience is so intertwined with pain and suffering, it's impossible to imagine a reality where our feelings, conciousness exist and develop without pain or suffering. I ask this from a purely theoretical pov, but why does the idea of continuously un-aliving one's self, re-aliving it then repeating the cycle seem so seductive ? Is the act itself important ? is romanticizing the idea more important than the act ? The topic is so rich !
