Wow, thats a really good guide! I'm farming this boss for 2 months already on RU and you memo covered every tricky moment of the fight. I really wish i had this video when I was in this gate first time in september. Couple little tips for those who will go first time in december : 1. If the boss is bound, doesnt matter who has eyes, boss casts his attacks straight. Also being bound it's pattern is always "stagger - EXACT 3 attacks - stagger - 3 more attacks - undoable stagger". Dont panic if your hp goes to 10%, if you know next attack is a stagger. Keep in mind you can free dps him, while waiting for your potion or sup to heal/shield. 2. At the start of the second stage after staggering him pick 2 people to throw binds right away. If you do not successfully catch the boss while he is 2-times running, wait for the jump. And those 2 other players throw their binds here.

Good guide as usual! I think the following information might be useful also. For prog or low-dps parties you may throw only one cube after the counter, wait for the second stagger and throw another cube after the stagger is completed. So, the throwing sheme can be slightly modified: Throw (1st) Cube > 1st Stagger > 2nd Stagger > 3rd Stagger (failed) Wait for the counter Counter and Stagger > Throw (2nd) Cube > 1st Stagger > 2nd Stagger > Throw (3rd) Cube > Destruction After the x95 gimmick, repeat the above.

If you run through it, it explode in a small range. Couldnt get that pattern for the vod :p

This is what i hate about lost ark the most... 500 mechanics for each boss... this is just stress game, and there is nothing like DBM like in WoW to atleast know when the mechanics are coming... u must remember Everything.. which is impossible...

I'm unclear on what to do immediately after the 95mech is resolved. Do we just throw 1 orb and begin the cycle again? If so, it doesn't seem to work. Ie the boss doesn't get latched or am I doing something wrong.

Not sure if we doin something wrong or the boss has a bug, but the boss at 95 bars doesn't jump to the center, he just spins in place and gives eyes to a random player in the proximity, then the other 3 dragons spawn based on his position, if he's near a border it creates weird situation where clones are in melee range to the boss

If he's already close to the center, he can just spin right away and give the eye to the closest guy

If Im not wrong, you lose from the current hp, but mayhem doesnt care and keeps dpsing, mayhem gets max hp just by taking 1 blood

Did I saw correctly that we cannot take second Red Orb (when we have our own buff active)? So either wait 15s before it runs out or more likely ping it for teammates not doing their job correctly, as to prevent it from reaching and healing the boss?

You can take it again and reset the buff

If you're party has weak dps, then the boss will be close to getting 5 stacks after the mech ends which is troublesome

There are two random mechs not mentioned in the guide 1) he will randomly spawn spheres that target each party member with a beam, you need to quickly pass through them to trigger and force them to explode otherwise they sphere will hit you 2) there will be a random mech where there's something like a mole that follows you and it will do a 3 line attack if it touches you, you need to keep running until the mech stops
