A cool little skill that I learned from my good friend Yusnier Viera (The Human Calendar) that anyone can learn. You'll be able to say the day of the week for any date this year or next!
For those watching back this video, here are the year codes for more recent years:
2022 - 0
2023 - 1
2024 - 3
2025 - 4
Or if you want to be able to just calculate this on your own, watch my more universal video here: • BECOME A HUMAN CALENDA...

Great stuff, but can you either do a follow-up video, or provide a link, on how to work out other year codes (and I assume the month codes would change on leap years too)

Nice nice! What's the code for 2020 and how to find it out ?

2020 has year code 4 only up until Feb 29, then it becomes code 5 because of the leap year! So 2021 is year code 6 etc. You’re all good until 2024 again. 🙂

Seems that days and months have the same "code" every year, am I right? And what about the years - 2018 is 2, 2019 is 3 and.....?! Thank You

How do you work out the year codes? 2019 is 3, great, but that's it? what are we going to do after 2019? or even the earlier years such 1820s 1932 etc? :) :) :)

Very nice, but I prefer the doomsday algorithm it's much easier and faster for most people due to not needing to use such huge numbers. In my system I never use a number larger than 6 or less than -3. My way also shows relationships between any leap year and common year in which key days always fall on the same day as one another, much simpler and so much more intuitive. I even invented a home brew method for calculating Julian calendar dates as well as dates in the B.C era back until 9999B.C or even Gregorian dates infinitely into the future passed a googillion, or even a year even if it's as long as the state of Texas!

Is this supposed to be faster than Harry Lorayane's method? Instead of memorizing all these cryptic codes, memorize what day the first Sunday of the month falls on. To make it easy memorize the months in chunks of 3 with the major system, so each image contains 3 months(a season.) For example I'll start with April-Dec of 2018... apr, may, jun= DJM July, aug, sept=GRN Oct,nov, dec=DLN So I thought of the M&M characters djing(DJM), then they throw the 8track like a frisby and this guy I know catches the 8track with his mouth and Grins(GRN.) And the guy who caught it in his mouth' s name was someone I knew named Dylan(DLN.) That is simply the link between the images, which represents what day the first Sunday of each month falls on. By going through these images in sets of 3 you can easily navigate to any given month. You can use simple maths to figure out what day of the week any given day is. EX: September 29th 1.Think of the image which contains September 2.its the N out of GRN. So the first Sunday of September is on September 2nd. 3. Add 7's until you are closest to the desires date. So 7*4=28 4. Then add the number for September which was 2, so 28+2=30. This 30 represents the closest Sunday to the date you want to know so we know that September 30th is a Sunday, therefore the 29th falls on a Saturday. Sounds complicated, but is simple as heck. My opinion is that my method is for a more practical use to memorize the calender for yourself, but Nelsons method is better for being able to tell someone what day is the week their birthday falls on in 20 years.
