I grew up in Wiltshire and, like many places in Britain, historical towns have been well looked after for centuries. The general rule is that you try not to replace things but add to them in a manner that maintains the past.

I live here and have done all my life. My godfather (R.I.P) knew evreything about this town and also was a archaeologists and found alot that is now in Bradford on avon museum, he written a book about bradford and his family (my cousins) has alot at thier home he discovered, a true legend from a beautiful small historic town.

It sure was a hot Saturday! On the upside to the Beeching's cuts, we have some lovely cycle and walkways around the country, but I get you're point on the transport links in rural places.

I stumbled upon your vids, I LOVE the vids, and they're so soothing and beautifully filmed. Wow. Makes me wonder if I shouldn't go further than London next time visiting England 🤔✨

Yes yes yes go further. We have quite a few videos that are within reach of London by train. Winchester, Canterbury, ( our fav Rye ) and even York which I see you have seen! Do check them out. 1 to 2 hours on the train and WOW you are in a whole new world. ☺
