Very well done. I bet it’s the addition of the ball cap. I kinda miss the knit blanket on the back of the couch. Reminds me of a blanket that was made for me as a child. You should frame it and hang it in the background of your current studio. Or offer it up as a giveaway for your millionth sub.

I'm currently using a combination of Trilium and Droppy for my notes depending on what i'm doing. The main reason i'm using Droppy still is that it's easy to back up the files and spin up a container on a new host if needed. Trilium has proven to be difficult in that regard but i'm making progress I think. I'll be giving Memos a spin later today after my caffeine kicks in.

Thanks for this, i recently had to restore my whole homelab from a old-ish backup, I tried trillium, obsidian & joplin, joplin was the closets to what I wanted, simple note taking which can actually copy and paste within the browser, and then to other applications, Memos is doing the job so far

Currently using Joplin (server) with Android and desktop. Love the simplicity of it, thanks for another great video

Looks very nice and simple! One missing feature (for me) is linking to other notes. I'm currently a Notion user, and being able to create interconnected notes is a godsend. Trilium looks like an interesting Notion alternative, as are several other apps. But for simple note taking, this looks very useful. Thanks!!

Ok so I FINALLY got around to installing this. It's pretty good. Not sure if i'm ready to ditch Trilium yet but the multi-user capability makes it tempting to do so.

@@DBTechYT Also. a clean install of Trilium with about half a dozen notes, most plain text, takes up over 108mb ram when running, and that's idle usage. so over 3x what Memos takes.

I was trying to install memos inside CasaOS [via docker compose] but continued to get an error / and resorted to command line - there wouldnt be a way to add to the CasaOS dashboard now its up and running via command line?

Does it have a plot or mind-map feature? I don't see any reference to it on their github, but that is a pretty basic feature for apps like this, right? Maybe I'm missing something. Thank you!

Last time I looked at the app, it didn't have that, but it's been a while since I've looked at it. If the github doesn't mention it, it probably isn't there.
