I'm an atheist but I really admire the faith he and many others have. I've met other people who share my belief (well non-belief I guess) and they don't really get it. I think it's amazing that something can influence someones life so much that they put it on their body. I really admire both him and his music.

i'd say some atheist's are really arrogant, just as many religious people. but there is a clear difference between wanting to believe and not believing, then not believing because you think its stupid, i admire the fact you aren't arrogant.

I love his tattoos. Matty seems like a really amazing person and I love that his faith influences him so much. It's really nice to have a band with MMF's sound that shows their love for God, and God's love for everyone through their music.

It really is awesome to me how strong he is in his faith, and what a good roll model he is to kids. I'm not a personal fan of the band, but it brings a smile to my face to see someone like him stick up for what he believes. Very cool and original tattoos

When Jesus died, he became the ultimate sacrifice and because of that, some old laws were wiped away from the old testament, for a new covenant was formed. To tell which ones where wiped away and which weren't, the ones that stayed are the ones that are mentioned again in the new testament. The verse from The Old talking about "tattoos" was not mentioned again in The New, therefore, is no longer relevant. Don't hate. Educate :)

+Warren Fulp Jesus actually said he did not come to abolish the law. for itd be easier for all heaven and earth to pass away then for one dot of the law to be removed. what he did do was fulfill the law which was Gods holy standard that none of us could match up to. and because of his sacrifice we are made righteous through him in the eyes of the father. now regarding tattoos where it mentions it in leviticus 19 it is talking about the standards which levite priests were to conduct themselves with to set themselves apart from pagan worshippers and priests. thats why on the same page its also speaks against trimming your beard the wrong way in the same manner. In saying that jesus ADDED two new commandments which were more top priority then the rest and thats to love the lord your god with all your heart soul mind and strength and love your neighbor as yourself.

I do have a tattoo, not that it matters. I care because tattoos have a negative stigma almost entirely due to stupid people getting stupid tattoos. I used to think the same way. Why is there a God? What is the point of life? The answer(for me) is God. We live for God, but also, for ourselves. If you believe that God and heaven and hell can be a possibility, then you can live for God. How you live your life on this earth determines your eternity. Think of it as a rope. lets say as long as 100 football fields. and at the very start, the rope is red for about an eighth of an inch. The red is our life here. The rest is eternity.
