My Memphis Shade fairing on my new Street Bob looks great and I love it! Having said that, it is a bugger bear to fit. I'll share some of my tips: First, on the headlight extension don't use the furtherest possible position. The bottom of the headlight ring on the shade will contact the extension block preventing the shade from locking into the bushings on the clamp assembly. It took me hours to figure out why the shade would not move aft. Next, the top two clamp assemblies will need to be as high on the forks as possible with the bottom two about 2&3/4 center to center below. Don't tighten the clamps. Next, the shade will need to be as high as possible at the mounting plate attach points (7/16) to allow the headlight to make clearance. Last, in a previous install (Sportster), I snapped in the shade bottom first and rotated the shade up to snap into the top latch assembly. However on the Street Bob 114, I snapped in the top first and rotated the shade down and THEN, having left the bottom two fork clamp bushings loose, I used a flat head screw driver to move the clamp bushing up to engage the shade attach points and lock in. I'm hope I don't have to remove it anytime soon. I hope this helps someone.

Just got mine and delivered with no instructions so thanks you for sharing and it was spot on for what I needed, only thing is that I have ordered the shorter headlight extension and noticed you had the longer one, will mock it up and see how short it is to the end of the fairing. Great video 👍🏻

Nice job👍🏽 Thank you for sharing💯🦾 I think you should do that sweet bike a solid and peel that hideous OEM sticker off the intake🙏🏾

Wow... I'm 5'11 wondering if 11.5 would work for me.... I like the vented kind you have 👍
@WeRide2 Жыл бұрын
I prefer the vented as well. It's worth a shot to try the 11.5... Worst case you can probably return it and go up a size.

Is this a snap on and off fairing once the mount hardware is installed? If I was just cruising around town can I take it off in a flash?
@WeRide2 Жыл бұрын
Yes, it's removable and only leaves the 4 mounting points on the fork tubes. Comes off in less than 2 seconds.

Do you have any problems with buffeting?

I have this fairing in the garage now but waiting on windshield. May I ask how tall you are and if the 11.5 works for you?
@WeRide2 Жыл бұрын
I'm 5'9 and i can say it works way better than i expected it to. Love it, mine is the vented version btw

Just curious why you prefer vented over not?
@WeRide2 Жыл бұрын
In my experience it manages the wind better around my head.

It came w screws? To latch the windshield
@WeRide24 ай бұрын
not to latch the windshield to the bike, for that there's quick release clips that mount onto the forks. However, there are hand screws to mount the windshield to the fairing itself and bolts for the faring to the bracket.

How tall are you? I’m interested in this but I’m 6’2
@WeRide23 ай бұрын
Sadly only 5'9" LOL. but I would say all that means is you should consider looking into a taller windshield for this faring.

Worth the money?

Every penny. This is my second T-Sport faring I've put on my bikes. The quick release hardware is much better than the mounting system used by products found on Amazon.

why is that bike so wobbly??!!

camera was not using the correct settings for stabilization. A rookie mistake lol.
