In this video, Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi covers the conquest of the Persian (Sassanid) Empire and the battle of Qadisiyah
The Sassanid empire had reached its utmost zenith during the lifetime of the prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) at approximately 620 CE.
Discover the hadith (traditions) of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) which mention the various predictions the Prophet made about the conquest of the Persian empire:
1) When the letter from the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) came to Khusro, he tore it up. To this the Prophet said "He tore up my letter, Allah will tear up his Kingdom"
2) .."Never will a nation succeed... "
3) The Prophet told Souraka "what will be your situation when you wear the bracelets of Kisra"
4) The Prophet (pbuh) said: "A small group of my Ummah will conquer the land of the Kisra"
5) "When this Kisra dies, there will be no Kisra after him..."
6) During the battle of Khandaq when the big boulder couldn't be broken by sahaba, the Prophet (pbuh) struck it and said "...Allahuakbar, I have been given the keys of Faris, and even now I can see the white palaces of Madayin(Tessifon).."
7) Wealth of Kisra will be spent for the path of Allah
The famous conversation occurred between Rabi' and Rustum, the Persian leader. Rabi' said he came to Rustom because "Allah has sent us so we can free the slaves from the worship of other slaves to the worship of the Lord of the slaves, and to free them from the strictness of this world to the vastness of the Akhira, and to free them from the injustices of all the religions to the justice of Islam. So whoever accepts this from us, we accept it from him and whoever refuses will be faught until the promise of Allah comes true.."
In Sha'ban of 15 AH, November 636, the battle of Qadisiyah took place. Muslims won this battle decisively and it played a pivotal role in future battles to come.

Sheikh Yasir with all due respect Sassanian were not the ones who returned jews to Jeruslaem. The one who returned Jews to Jerusalem was Cyrus who was even before Alexander.

According to Judeo-Christian tradition; Book of Ezra chapter 1. Historically,Nebuchnezzar enslaved jews and moved them to babylon then when Cyrus conquered babylonian empir, he returned every comunity to wherever they were from. It was then the temple was reconstructed
