I have connected all the speakers with modems and network cables and the program runs fine, but I can't seem to get ANY audio out of the speakers other than the startup noise.

I have been messing with this for about 3 hours and only can get the sand break and note snare to work. Edit: I got it working now actually.

@@Chleba3267 So if you have the memusic and memdiaplayer set-up on the computer, you have to type edit memdiaplayer, or memsuic. Next scroll down in the code to where it says: -- musical in green text and all the names, sound effects, intrusments, and block names are. For each sound effect to work you have to change the block.note.(soundname) to block.note_block.(sound name). For example: the "piano" ending bit should be like "block.note_block.harp" instead of the previous wording due to minecraft changing how the block id's work. Essentially the whole thing should be as follows or similarly too it: "block.note_block.harp" "block.note_block.bass" "block.note_block.bell" "block.note_block.chime" "block.note_block.xylophone" "block.note_block.flute" "block.note_block.guitar" "block.note_block.basedrum" "block.note_block.hat" "block.sand_block.break" "block.note_block.snare" Then save these edits and it that portion should be good to go. 149: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value) is a failure to find speakers. Make sure you're using CC:Tweaked speakers and that they're connected to the computer using wired modems and networking cables. Right click the modem to connect it to the network. i.imgur.com/xMlKhe4.png

Hi I got a problem when I want to start a music with Memplayer : "memplayer:333: bad argument: string expected, got nil" And the exact same message when I want to load a song from a floppy disk whith Memusic : "memusic:803: bad argument: string expected, got nil" Hope that can be solved 'cause your program is dope !!

Make sure the disk has the song file and its named exactly 'memusic.txt', and edit that file so that in the very end of it there is an empty line

Awesome. Only a few quirks especially the loading which will stop many and the block_notes fix for 1.16. Other than that Awesome and incredible. 10/10 would load again. ha legit this should have a github with song entries so it doesn't die.

@@cyberooski There were changes in CC or CC Tweaked where the variable for block notes changed. It is like a whole section in the programm just assiging it. That is why it just goes nowhere and never plays any sounds. I hope that helps you. I could not find the solution right away. But is really easy. Because each Soundblock in the programm is one tone. So each tone is mapped to one Block and there has to be the latest variable for note blocks of the current CC you use. I just noticed by change that the variable is different. Just enter freestyle mode if it works. It should play the blocks there. Loading and stuff worked for me after I figured it out. Any sound based note block based program that works should provide you the info what the variable is. I bet you can also find it on the wiki. It is just slightly different than the old one. Don't quote me some stuff like "note_block" or something.

you need to do pastebin get (example LGFScQ7x here) disk/memsong.txt then to get it to read properly you need to do: cd disk/ edit memsong.txt then goto the end of the file hit the end button on the keyboard and add a blank enter right after the last bit of text. hit ctrl then click save. then ctrl again and exit then do: cd .. memmusic click load

a recent update broke your program (noteblock sounds have different names). I am right now working on fixing a few typo's and translating the spanish etc. to get the programs working again. I also changed the instrumentcount variable to simply use #instruments (same as table.getn(instruments) and added some of the new instruments to the list (it has all noteblock instruments from the wiki. PS. Im using this on cctweaked for minecraft 1.15.2 with forge. I would also like to ask why you aren't using 1 speaker to play all the notes, in my computercraft this seems to be an option (when i was experimenting i played all 16 instruments and all 25 pitches it simply created a weird bleep but it did work)

the fix for the break has to do with mojang/microsoft changed the name ids from block.note.(soundname) to block.note_block.(sound name) the fix is pretty quick just do this on the computer once booted do: edit memmusic tap the down arrow key till you see {["name"] = when you see this you hit the sound file id stuff go all the way to the right hitting the right arrow till you see the block. and after that just add the _block after the word note and this fixes the program now just hit ctrl save ctrl exit and your done and the program is working

No matter what I do it just won't load in the songs, it keeps repeating the same error "memusic:803: bad arguement (string expected, got nil" anyone know's why it happens, I named the file memsong.txt, and before you say "name it memusic.txt" it didn't work also, in fact naming it memusic.txt would not load the thing at all, and when I try to use the memdiaplayer it just display's error 333 with the same message as error 803, i'm honestly in lost for any idea or way to fix this thing.
