I get swollen around the eyes when I see innocent people being hurt, like a school shooting or civilians killed in war.. sometimes a tear or two will leak out. Same with when I reflect back on mistreating ppl who didn't deserve it. Videos like these are making me ugly cry. I've been able to forgive my family for a pretty neglectful upbringing riddled with bad influence and pain that spill out into their child rearing. Hearing people work through similar things live in the moment, gets me leaking.. I know how hard it is for them, but they deserve it! You come out of that gauntlet so clean and new when you can understand, forgive and drop your baggage, and truly move on in peace. You're an angel Thoraya! ps. Seeing good people randomly help others for no other reason than their loving heart told them to, also gets me balling! Thank you for all you do!

Honestly as I've grown up (20 years old right now), I've come to understand a lot about emotions and how to just not bottle it up. It's okay to cry when you're down brothers. Doesn't make you any less of a man. Don't let anything hold you down and pull you back. Always look up and push forward. 💪🏽😤

Crying is an essential human emotional reaction. When I was little I swore to myself that I would never marry a man who I never saw cry. There is power in crying. I often feel stronger afterwards.

Honestly last time I cried was a few minutes ago. Crying every night for the past nights and months silently in the bathroom on the floor so no one can here me 😞 depression, diabetes, acne,failure, failing health, my family getting older, working so hard and getting no where, feeling like Gods given up on me, not wanting to be here anymore tons more to add to the list

I have been there. My whole life falling apart. Tried and failed at a lot of things. Even had my folks give up on me. Over the years, I have made a lot of promises to my mom about the things ill do for her when I 'make it'. I am still yet to make it. My mom has stopped believing and my Dad never really did. Seeing them getting older and frailer gets to me too, knowing I am running outta time to pay them back. Even experienced failing health too. I used to cry alone a lot till I realise that the change I seek is up to me. So I did a 360 with my life style. I started by feeding my mind with positives only by being careful with what I watch or listen to and the people I hang with. I seek positive energy only. I started watching what I eat. 0 junk or processed food, only fresh, natural and organic food, mainly vegetables. I started exercising regularly (by the way when you feel depressed do a very light exercise and it will give you instant relieve). I also stepped up my hustle to help me meet my financial goals. I also learned to accept the things I cannot change while working hard to change the things I can. My life right now is not perfect, I am far from where I wanna be, heck I still cry sometimes, but now I feel in control and definitely happier. Sharing your struggles with others like you just did helps too. People may not be able to physically help but just sharing helps lesson the burden.

That guy at the end who said "it sucks being a man" really hit me. I'm intersex and recently made the decision to stop taking estrogen, which has resulted in my natural testosterone being way more prominent. One thing that shocked me was that it's a lot harder for me to cry now... even when I want to, sometimes I just can't. It can be very frustrating, and makes me feel like I'm not as in touch with my emotions as I used to be.
@VisionaryofMirage4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing, he struck a chord with me too. Growing up I think I physically forgot how to cry, because years went by as a teenager when I barely cried at all. I've always been emotional, but internalised and bottled up a lot. It was only in my early 20's that I re-learned how to let it all out; it didn't come easily, but it sure feels healthier in the long run.
@a12i93 жыл бұрын
"If I wanna cry, I can't do it" is also 100% me and I'm a woman. Somehow emotional situations make me numb and only sometimes when I recall it later I suddenly start crying. I've always been like that, which makes it super uncomfortable to cry in front of people. It's one of the worst things for me and I wish it wasn't. Almost nobody knows me crying..

When I've been going through chaotic times and tearing myself apart about my inability to just carry on, and then I see/hear/remember/am told something really warm and relatable. Then I feel so broken about how I've been trying so hard and don't deserve the pain of worry and self-criticism, but I also no longer feel like I'm alone or hopeless. And that feeling of sharing both sadness and mutual love with the rest of the world just makes me cry, whether it's because of a song or a memory or something a friend told me..

it amazes me that we live in a society that still shames men for crying. its can be beautiful, painful, funny, cathartic but its always necessary and makes us grow and heal as people. Cry if you need to, its human and its important. people seem to feel that they will burden their friends if theyre sad and want to talk about it but in reality youll make that friendship stronger and let them have a moment to feel useful to you and understand you. its never a burden to offload your problems with friends. and if someone makes you feel that way it isnt you thats the problem there, its their lack of empathy and patience.
