It's ironic how, in 2010, I started out making $10 an hour fresh out of college. Over the years, I got raises, and by 2020, I was making $20 an hour. But by then, $20 felt like the new minimum wage. It makes you question the point of working hard, getting promoted, and chasing raises when the cost of living outpaces every pay increase.

I personally don't mind going back into the office especially if I'm getting paid the type of money that Amazon is paying. their average base salary starts around 140k Plus benefits. Now I work in SAS sales and I would say in some office environments it's more distracting in the office due to the loud music and the raw raw compared to me being at home focusing on my clients. I've also been in situation were the pay doesn't make sense to go back in the office Zoom calls where you can do that from home. I'm actually more productive working from home because if I ever go on vacation or have to travel I never take off and I just bring my laptop with me and I'm still able to close deals opposed to being confined to one area.

Globalization breaking down is causing a lot of the problems you’re seeing. There’s a lot of manipulation going on to make you think things are better than they are. 4 out of 10 job postings are ghost jobs, 800,000 jobs that were created never were but all you hear is “we have all these jobs and nobody wants to work”, the jobs were never created in the first place, plain and simple. I have a feeling a portion of the BS was just an excuse to get refugees into the country to work for less. People want to make you think that you are the problem, it’s a lot easier to schmooze the system that way.

Interesting perspective! I think it's more about how the modern work culture has changed. Many people, not just men, are questioning whether the traditional 9-to-5 is really worth it, especially with rising costs and stagnant wages. It's not that people don’t want to work-many are just looking for a more fulfilling or sustainable way to live. I'm all for working hard and getting paid fairly. But grinding for $20 an hour when rent alone is $1,400 makes no sense. There's nothing left to save between health insurance, gas, and food. Seven years ago, I was making $14 an hour, and I was more motivated because I actually had money left over each month to save and even treat myself once in a while. I had my own place, and life felt manageable. But now, despite working harder, I'm barely making ends meet. I sleep on a couch to save money, cut back on everything-no eating out, no driving, no extras. I even studied for a professional license and started my own business, but in the past three months, things have slowed down so much it feels like it's gone bust. Some days, I feel hopeless and broke. Lately, I've realized that focusing on my afterlife is more beneficial because in this life, you can put in everything and still see little return. Only God can help me keep pushing through this.

Then start trading for real. If you become skilled you can make 3 trades a day or week and make the equivalent of several months or years wages in a month...

The Worker Opportunity Tax Credit government work program incentivizes employers to hire certain categories of workers. If they do hire the workers then they can receive up to a $10,000.00 tax credit. The program has also been expanded to refugees with special circumstances. Just a hunch, I think I’d rather get $10,000.00 tax credit by hiring people in those groups versus someone who doesn’t make me the credit. The refugees sure aren’t making it easier for the average joe trying to find a job.

Money will not save your soul. We cannot buy our way into Heaven. Money can hide some insecurities only until it runs out. Nobody is immune from Life. You can be on top today and tomorrow in the gutter. Daniel chapter 4 please read. It teaches us about ego and pride. We can do nothing without God (Jesus). He was the one who sends you customers and partners who invest in your business Anton. God is the one who gave you the drive and mentality to pursue making money. To answer the migrant point, thats also proving my point. They have a different culture and upbringing that aligns with american values. The men in the chat aren't broke. They're realistic. You can work and eat, but the level of success won't be the same. You'll only be providing for yourself. Which you don't need much. You can Uber and support yourself very well. If you have a family or like some finer things, then you'll upgrade. The men of the 50's worked so hard for their family. Not for themselves. Even our black leaders did it for the people. Not themselves. Malcolm wouldve still been a pimp or a N.O.I. puppet. Martin would've stayed and been a preacher. Most men are motivated by their family and friends to outperform. Same with the old generations. Talk to older people. Poppop worked hard and gave mommom the money to pay the bills and tale care of things. He'd sit on the couch and them sleep most of the time, only to get up 5 a.m. and work. And honestly talk to a lot of them. They worked so hard because what they signed up for wasnt what they thought it was and they just want to stay out of the house as mich as possible. Shows in the 80's abd 90's were built on this logic. Now look at today. Divorce rates are off the charts. Finding out your kids arent yours, your wife's a cheater. That book you're reading doesn't give context to their backgrounds and mindsets. Its like going to court and only taking one side and judging over that. Real life is the best teacher. You can believe what you want but seeing is believing.

@emerysutton5430 Yeah, he usually bases a lot of his mentality off of his anecdotal experiences. While they may have been fruitful in his experience, it may not work in others. Now, baseline things, I agree with his logic. However, that usually ends when you factor in each individuals dedication and motives. Men need a cause to fight for. It's been like that since the beginning of time. Men in the past weren't built different, they were nurtured differently. There have always been times in history however of men in society have become divested and moving to other regions. There just isn't too much to believe in these days. You get a family, only to have them taken when your wife gets tired. You didn't have no fault divorces back then. Or feminist movements. He's comparing apples and apricots without proper context. I get it makes good content, but it's not honest to the conversation.

I said this a long time ago, a big driving factor for men in general to strive and work more is for the women and children. You remove women from the equation (which is why most guys today are single and childless) and many men will either work to sustain or simply not work. We(men) are simple and kinda minimalistic for the most part, a lot of the luxuries, from big homes fast cars, to high paying jobs, trips out the country that's really for women. men dont need all that to feel fulfilled imo.

Men in these other countries with weaker currencies have stronger families, better healthcare, work less hours on average, and have a culture that doesn't shit on men. They can have a better life with much less than Americans. Most of these "3rd World Countries" and "2nd World Countries" rank much higher on the global peace index and wealth equality index than the US. I have lived overseas now for the past 2 years. Most migrants going to the US are men from sanctioned countries and countries that will be at war with the US if there is a WW3. The migrants are not from places like Monaco, Singapore, UAE etc. They are from China, Venezuela, Iran, Haiti, etc.

Many men are probably day trading, selling things on Amazon, investing in stocks, doing Gig work like Amazon Flex, Uber, Lyft, Door Dash etc. These people prefer freedom over slavery to a clock. They're probably getting to the bag but in an alternative way that doesn't fuel the corporate machine! Why slave in a warehouse or on a construction site when you can pull in 300-400 a day doing Gig work, or Day Trading Options, Futures, or Forex pulling in thousands a day? The only benefit to working for a company is the insurance, and if most men don't have families there's no need for insurance. God truly hates the world that exists today and he tells you that if your rich, yours gonna be a target soon...so dont act like you love God and hes on your side. all these so called hard workers are the biggest scammers and dishonorable ass holes you can meet. they all preach working smart but really its working without ethics and lying to people to make money. ive seen hard workers. ive seen people get injured breaking their backs. lying in dirt. getting cut daily and literally bleeding for this shty world. all that blood has a price all that sweat has a price that needs to get paid since none of you actually ask God for forgiveness. but go ahead and believe the false prophets with large followings and all the money God tells you not to fall in love with. you will all find out pretty soon it was unwise.

@17:00 , you're right Anton. Their jobs were harder in the 50s for sure. We must also add, a respectable family and respectable community bigger than themselves were at the root of why they were invested in those jobs (blue collar roles in particular). As you would say, let's deep dive and evaluate why?

I agree. I’m a young woman but I don’t mind going in the office just for to socialize, when I work from home sometimes it can get lonely. Even some of my remote coworkers in different states miss being in office sometimes for the socialization.

We’re not just leaving the work force we’re leaving the country…we ain’t signing up to work indefinitely while being hated… lol we don’t “have” to work and aren’t wanted there why be there. I’ve got 36 months left (if that) and I’m out as well, if I’m going to be “working” it’ll be in a space where I have the final say. No degree, only broke six figures a couple of years, own house, car, no consumer debt…. The degree narrative is played out most people are going into debt without knowing the roi on that piece of paper…. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Work ethic goes back to HOW A PERSON HAS BEEN RAISED. It is the parents RESPONSIBILITY to instill a strong work ethic into their kids while they are young. It's always been that way until recently. These days there's not much discipline or training in parenting and way too much pampering and over indulgence. Having a strong work ethic is NOT something you rip out of thin air just because you're grown. Work ethic goes back to how you are raised. Men leaving the workforce is a SYMPTOM of a NATION that's DYING. It's a SIGN of a NATION in DECLINE and heading for COLLAPSE....

It’s so many side hustles out here that make more than a job even though a job is more stable it doesn’t give you the time or ability to Boss up faster especially if your a single man no wife kids you’re gonna come up with discipline and focus.

A lot of factors influence this, take into account jobs available today are paying an all time low in comparison to how far dollars used to go in Boomers era. Inflation and high cost of living also influence the deppresion and abolishment of the american dream. The decisions government makes are the worst. Democrats have a lot to do with this downfall since out of the last 16 years just 4 of them were Republican and ironically those 4 were a period of economic growth and abundance.

There are many variables that’s caused this… Low “T” levels; video games; recreational drugs; lack of dads in the house; feminization of males; I also think family does drive men to grind harder. But beta males are not even trying to talk to women or have a family.

Look at the dynamics of today nothing is like the past. 9-5’s were invented not even 100 years ago, for the past 30-20 years there’s been a rise of women in the workplace & men checking out. I wonder if obedience plays a role? Most certainly.. prior to 100 years if a group of men felt tyranny & mischief they’d band together & pillage. You can’t do that today, so let them play their video games & smoke their little weed you wouldn’t want Men to do what they’ve been doing historically
