Well done mate. Keep an eye on the beds not just the line. Sometimes need to drop or raise the line if the beds are not looking right. Hope your apprentices don’t bugger off once trained up. Unfortunately they often do.

Hyyy good to see you guys back. Looks awkward to lay with those scaffo bars in your way. That was a bit of headache I reckon 😬. Love the videos from Perth 🖐🙃

should do a video on how you take care of your tools. I've seen a lot of different methods on how people clean their trowels, mixer, shovels, wheelbarrow etc. keen to see what your maintenance routine is
@richardstetson8221 Жыл бұрын
I know a method that works good no matter how dirty your trowels and joiners get you can soak them in brick acid the only bad thing is it can make them rust I rinse them then hit them with a wire brush to prevent that once you use them the rust comes off anyway

Hello Ty from Sydney. That's a "big job" 58000 bricks. You're laying well: "slapping em in" with a nice clean face. Matt 'the third year' has a 'back on' method and is eyeing the perpend joint center for meeting in the course. 🪃🌏

Haha, if only it were that easy. I think the exposure from the videos does attract a few people to take up the trade here in Melbourne.

Hi mate . Just a quick question. When you start laying very first course of bricks at the edge rebate do you have to lay dpc or membrane to stop water ingress going up or dpc is only required for weep holes only ? I will appreciate your reply. Thanks
@bricksbyty Жыл бұрын
DPC and Termite Protection are placed just below bottom plate level, which is usually at 172mm or 2 courses.
