One of my top ten favorite movies. And one of the most iconic movies of the 90s. This was a nice comeback for Tommy Lee Jones after the likes of Batman Forever. And for Will Smith, just another summer blockbuster to add to his resume. They had great chemistry.

But when you see movies like Gladiator based 2,000 years ago and they still act the exact same as us today.... It makes u realize. Humans weren't stupid 2,000 years ago. This has to be one of the tightest screenplays ever committed to film. It accomplished so much in an hour and a half. Linda Fiorentino was so good, I loved her character and I wish she had continued in the sequels. In the 90s she had a reputation as being "difficult to work with", which in hindsight probably means she was blacklisted by Harvey Weinstein for not sleeping with him.
