Dennis Rodman being an alien in the MIB universe is awesome be ause they guy really is built different. He does have a striking appearance but he also was just a beast of an athlete. Personally this is still my favorite ending in the series. Really gives closure to K's story and makes J the face of MIB for good. The decision to essentially retcon this ending in MIB2 wasn't handled as well as it could have been. And the twist in MIB3 isn't enough to make up for the very little screentime Will and Tommy Lee have together.

You would think that MIB would have more people like the city coroners on their payroll so that they wouldn’t have to neuralize them in the event they have valuable information, what’s more is that they could contact HQ to make sure that they have a heads up on the dead bodies that are clearly extraterrestrial. Remember, L didn’t have much of a social life and even states that she hates the living. I’m not saying that they need to spread the net too wide, but keeping the right people in the know would certainly help with preventing needless memory wiping to the point where it ruins lives.

Not needed. As soon as a coroner has to autopsy an alien they'd go crazy on the phones, try to get to the news or whatever. I'm sure MiB is big enough to have wires on phones and the mass media. Then it's just a matter of showing up, neuralyzing as many people as needed and leave. They don't need a heads-up from coroners because anyone who finds an alien will cause an uproar about it big enough for MiB to realize, and they don't need to buy anyone's silence because that's what neuralyzing is for. On the other hand, having "civilians" be aware of MiB's activities could lead to some information leaks and security breaches if any of those civilians open their mouths to the wrong being or straight up get captured and made talk.

This reminds me of my eye doctor, Dr. Ceran! He is like Jay in the movie. I am like Kay. I went to Dr. Ceran for an eye exam in about 2012. As iconic as this scene is, I always find it hilarious that THIS is the point at which K determines J to be "fully trained". Am I the only one who’d have loved to see this woman be J’s actual partner in MIB 2? Instead of that weird stuff about him not finding the right partner and having that weirdo cry in public, we see these two actually work as a competent team and that she is an invaluable part of their unit. Then they run into the situation with The Light that they know they need K for and instead of Frank and J going to get him it’d be her and K. So then we’d have a three-man MIB squad to mix up the formula. She would still be J’s partner, K would just be a senior agent being brought back and they work together. I honestly think I’d have preferred such a movie. They spent all of this movie making this woman character specifically suited for MIB through her personality and skills, show her fit perfectly as J’s partner, then just “she’s back to the morgue”. It really sucks. I’d have loved a girl-girl showdown with her and Serlina or something. Or maybe her taking the place of the worms at MIB HQ manning the computers and handling all the jobs at once like a badass supporting them from the distance. Or even a sequence where she has to juggle retaking HQ/undoing Serlina’s takeover with communicating with J/K (freeing the trapped agents, re establishing MIB’s HQ etc) and then running point on K and J’s progress giving them valuable intel that leads to the conclusion of the movie. I get this would conflict with MIB 3 where K is just back and they’re partners again but K expresses here that he wants to leave. Maybe they renuralize him at the end of MIB 2 and MIB 3 is the same with Boris escaping and J and this woman look into it and realise it’s about K and investigate and go back in time together perhaps? Or if it needs to be an old-school J/Young K partnering then she can be instrumental in the present sequences and front line defense on the boglodite invasion. And perhaps a plot point is that until J time jumps backwards again, the original timeline is still occurring with the invasion and this woman has to delay the invasion to give J enough “time” in the past to undo Boris’ actions to reassert the timeline. That way the 19 hour deadline J mentions would have actual stakes cuz that’s how long MIB estimates hey can hold off the invasion before falling. But yea, even if they had to switch actresses, I think keeping her as J’s partner would have been the better approach for certainly MIB 2.
