What make this scene ever crazier is that a lot of the men in the documentary were only children when the bridge first opened or even built.

The Forth Bridge in Edinburgh, Scotland is very similar to the Pont de Québec in Quebec City.

Just like when the British National Oil Corporation set up in Glasgow in the 1970's and eighties, , most of the good paying jobs went to the English. There would have been hundreds of local Scott's lads capable of doing what these English men were doing. But good old English nepotism racism ensures those and many more, were earmarked for their own kind.
