Oh this music is epic! Especially on the last german mission when the british just keep coming and you are doing the best you can to keep them away! Made me feel like I was really there fighting to the last :D

Hold the town against the Tommies. Out numbered, short supplied, limited ammunition... I made the tommies pay for attacking my town. I fell back away from the first line of defenses and dug in, since i felt the first line was indefensible. With the troops I pulled from the first line i was able to double the 2nd line immediately inside the city suburbs. Needless to say it was effective. only pain in the ass was the Tommy flamethrowers.

@@secondagent5998 Well, in terms of WW2 RTS, this game series is king (MOW:As2 with the Valor mod is amazing). COH is a bit too arcade for my tastes!

@@moonumental red tide was my very mow game i was so fascinated of this game rts ideea with direct controlled units and made me play the same mission like 5-6 and ecperiment every ideea,i coud't spawn units,i got used to the you fight with what you get ideea i got creative and stole any piece of artilery and tank (usually shooting them in the turet,i learned that the tank crew exit the tank) i could lay my hands on,i learned how to fight the tanks before playing wot 7 years ago,i learned mechanics of the game and i thoght all the mow games are like this. Back then i used to rts that you have infinite ammo and you only have to manage the resources and control all the units Red tide made the other games easy for me and made me love mow series.And fascinated me more to see romanian and hear speaking troops in the first mission at Odessa(my great grand father was at Odessa)This game rules

Men,i was frowing up with this game since i was like myb 11 yrs old,just when it came out,and i had a butch of those Demo games,if i just could play those game in full....Only few games were in full mode,and this one was one of them so it really fullfiled my wish for gaming (it was like a magic to some kid of 11yrs or less) in those days,and this soundtrack puts me directly back into those days :D

@Voss2120 oh i perfectly understand why people like coh, i still think its a great game, but it is just a game. it isnt trying to be realistic, just playable. its still alot better than most rts games out there i just prefer faces of war and its sequels as im really into the history of the period and so it really irritates me (and im sure many other people) to see sdkfz 222 armoured cars being blown up by rifle fire lol

@Voss2120 yeah that mg thing in particular made me stop playing coh when rangers can run right through the 3 mg42s firing at them from a pz4 its just stupid. and also how 5 english guys with rifles can blow up armoured cars and halftracks just by shooting them lol

Like in COH shermans deflecting Tiger rounds and taking 5+ shots to kill when the shermans at 1%. (Gun and engine damage before it dies) Which made me quit that game. This ones tank mechanics are more realistic and the tanks MGs actually kill shit unlike the MGs on COH tanks.

The only part I think is bad about the game is the voices for the characters in the game... some of the things they say are VERY cheesey. Also, some mechanics need some refining. Compared to COH germany isn't so heavily neeerfed in the ass.
