OMG, Gigachad did amazing lifts in Asian games 109 category today, and I think there might be a big chance that he will be sent to Paris. I mean Gigachad took the champ for 96kg in May, and win the 102kg in September, and then win the 109kg in October in the same year. A weightlifter that compete 81, 89, 96, 102, and 109 in two years, Just incredible!!

He beat both Uzbeks at Asia games. Ahkbar did 180-212 in 2018 at 102 WH says he’s heading back to 102 since the super trial didn’t pan out

For context, Lu Xiaojun snatched 177kg at 77kg in 2016. Interesting to see 102kg men barely exceeding that lift 7 years later.

I keep saying this,the guy truly was a freak of nature. The 220kg bottoms up overhead squat,the casual 200kg C+J in training/training halls,the 100kg weighted dips,he was truly a phenom

What's more likely, Lu Xiaojun was a freak of nature or that he was on something that is not tested for yet?

For context, Asen Zlatev clean and jerked 225 at 82.5kg in 1986. Interesting to see 102kg men unable to exceed that lift 37 years later. For context, Andrei Rybakou snatched 187 at 85kg in 2006. Interesting to see 94kg men barely exceeding that 12 years later.

does anyone know how tall gigachad is? can't find anything online on his height
@clintiacuone1703 Жыл бұрын
If you watch their introductions he looks to be around the same height if not marginally taller than meso and Google has meso around 1.78m tall so I would imagine giga is no taller than 1.8m

Nickname. I dont remember the deeper explanation 😅

His dad and grandfather had same nickname. Must be a family heirloom.

Does anyone know if Garik Karapetyan is the brother of Andranik? Tsikhantsou looks like he is almost back to his 2019 form. He had a poor Olympics and disappeared for a couple years because of international sanctions. I’m glad he’s back. Dude looks like central casting comes calling when they need a weightlifter. His 3 snatches look like the 3 he did at the 2019 Europeans all over the platform
@andranikhakobyan5648 Жыл бұрын
No they are not relatives. Karapetyan is a common last name in Armenia.
