Scrap this medal race format and go back to medal race scores double points. We want to see worthy gold medal winners who were the best over the whole competition not someone who lucked out in the medal races. Both gold medallists won just 1 race all competition. It doesnt even make good TV.

The 3 person medal format is nothing more than a joke. No other sport spends days racing at the Olympus’s and then throws all those results away and goes luck dip for one short race
