Can we just say that Shea Moisture is God's blessing for our hair. I too started growing my hear by college. We had no option but to have our hair cut growing up lol. Anyway, yes yes to all this! I dont have Geranium but Lavender and Tea Tree is in my essential oil mixture for moisturizing my hair. I do need to do better with taking care of my hair though. I have been slacking. I also don't shampoo my hair much at all, just condition my hair. Also, you said Phthalates right! :) Annnnddddd the fact that you do not like the smell of Lavender lol - its the best. I love Jasmine too and I mix it in with my lotion after I bathe that way I smell like Jasmine. :) Your curls are awesome! Great job!

I would also recommed the shea moisture curl mousse to boost & the curl gel soufle so you dont have to style your hair everyday as long as it proetect it at night. Finish it off with the curl mist great shine & keeps your hair moodturized for long period of times eliminating a lot of frizz.

I have long 3b(?) type hair. I usually shower with those same Shea Moisture products. Every once or twice a month, I'll shower with sulfate shampoo to kinda reset my hair to clean out all the products used in my hair. For daily, I used leave in conditioner from Shea Moisture. I also used curling cremes to define my curls and then seal it all with argan oil. Sometimes I used coconut oil after I shower but not every day. I love my hair and never felt so free after accepting my hair type! I feel like a hair metal sometimes lol I should probably pick up my guitar

I’m mixed blend with wiry tight curls, probably about 4-5 times thicker than yours. When at a number 1 clipper it feels like your touching fur 😂😂 I have a love hate relationship with this mop on my head and I’m currently in the process of growing my hair…again 🙄 When long my hair is pretty amazing and will dread naturally if I only wet my hair daily. Though when I wash it, the dreads just fall away and the curls are back. Since my hair is so dry and wiry, I don’t wash my hair very often. Going to look more into the oils this time to try and get that soft definition as my hair grows again. Have a great day 😁

Great video, exactly what i needed. I use shea moisture too and it looks great but the only problem is once the hair dries. Like when my hair is wet straight out of the shower it looks fine but as soon as it dries, it frizzes very easily, (like when i put a shirt on or seomthing) and it doesn't stay defined. I've tried leave in and it works okay but it makes my hair have a weird texture to it.

Have you ever used the Curl Enhancing Smoothie from the same line or do you feel the milk is suffice? Also do you blow dry when you’re in a rush?
@quincyjay Жыл бұрын
I have tried it, but I found that it wasn’t really necessary for my curl pattern, kinda overdid the curls for me. And I blow dried it once, but I prefer air dry even if I have to show up somewhere with wet hair lol, my hair is super thin so blow dry makes it poof up a lot. Also possible I wasn’t doing it right

If you have low porosity hair (your hair floats in a cup of cold water) which a lot of people do then the curl smoothie is going to be too thick for wash n go styles like this.
